Bristol now has Jake Brown at shortstop. Sent down from Kanny where he was hitting .316. Don't get it, since there are 3-4 other SS's on the Bristol roster. Of course, this clears the way for Tim Anderson to get all the PT at Kanny. And, I hope Bristol does better than last year.

Barnum is now on the active roster for Kanny, so he should be playing, since there is no other first baseman on that team. Should be interesting to see how he does.

Just a waste of ink, paper, and electricity if you can't name names, Hawk. If it keeps happening, maybe the staff is not so great. Then, on another subject, twice during this series the Twin announcers brought up the Toriiiiii Hunter/Jamie Burke collision as if this is the apex of Twinkie baseball. Still urinates me.

I am very familiar with the Colorado Rockies' system, and I have always liked OF Charlie Blackmon. He's gotta be available.

Back to Trayce, He is having a good enough year that the Sox will have to add him the the 40 man roster in the off season, or he will get picked up by some team.

One of the Talking Heads at ESPN listed a few candidates to be traded, and he had Crain at the top of the list. This was during the Sunday night game, I believe. What can we get for him?

They almost have to make room for him at W-S. Someone then has to be moved up to B-ham.

That was our Josh Fields in the Charlotte game at DH. Still hitting over .300 in AAA like he did last year.

Might be just me, but he looks like he has improved over the last 2-3 months. Cannot point to any stat to back this up.

If I remember correctly, Black finished really strong last year. If he does it again this year, why not consider him? He is hitting around .300 with power and a bunch of walks. Big, strong kid, improving each year. What else do you want? Would love to see him promoted to Charlotte by end of June.

Gotta bring up Phegley by D-Day. Send Flowers down. We have to get some legitimate hitting prospects, major league ready players, and trading value will be a lot higher in June-July than in off season (Peavy, Reed). If Hahn does not do something by end of July, I'll be surprised and disappointed.
