  1. Moncada is a great athlete. No question. But like an old Coach once said, " There's only two things that can hurt you. Women and whiskey."
  2. The boys at PTI talked about Giolito, throwing him under the bus for being an awful pitcher since the trade,
  3. Sox bullpen should not be a surprise. At the deadline Sox gave up 5 pitchers, all of whom had big league credentials. None are Hall of Famers, but still MLB qualified. They were replaced by pitchers who had trouble getting anyone out in Charlotte.
  4. Why is Cronin on an MLB roster? I've seen him pitch several times, and he just does not have anything close to big league stuff.
  5. I saw Carela's stats. Is he the real deal?
  6. Does Getz have the authority to fire Pedro?
  7. What a disgusting trade. Probably triggered by the same dope who drafted Gonzalez.
  8. I wonder if he has any trade value.
  9. Minny won't have to play the Yanks if they make it to playoffs.
  10. Don't know why we didn't claim Lopez. Certainly affordable.
  11. Maybe Ozzie is the right guy to manage Sox in '24.
  12. Has Jacob Burke hit the proverbial wall?
  13. The definition of arduous is ...when unable to draft players, trade players, or sign free agents.
  14. Should Vaughn have gotten to that cheap double? Never saw a replay or heard anybody say anything.
  15. I wonder if Getz understands this stuff.
  16. Yes, Ted Stepien. His last Hurrah was his trading the overall #1 pick to the Lakers for a slug named Dan Ford. Ford was at the end of the Laker's bench and was actually cut and re-signed by the Lakers....Twice. Then traded for overall #1 pick that turned out to be either James Worthy or Magic Johnson. Worthy, I believe. The trade had to be crooked. The Burger trade certainly is not on that level, but it was dumb. As I said earlier, it might have been the proverbial straw.
  17. In the NBA back in the early 80's, I believe, an owner made a trade that was so bad that the league had to step in. They didn't nullify the trade, but they gave the team an extra draft choice the next year and forced the crooked, incompetent owner to sell his franchise, thus getting him out of the league. Maybe MLB can step in here, (Just kidding).
  18. Maybe this stupid trade was the straw that broke the camel's back. Maybe this is what got those two bozos fired.
  19. Passan has probably spent 6 minutes watching the White Sox this year. We could write a book on the causes of the white sox failure, and he thinks it's because no 9-figure contract signing. He's a dope. So, if we had signed Stanton for 9 figures, and Soso for 9 figures, and one of the Met pitchers for 9 figures, would we be winning? No. His 9-figure cause is way too simplistic. He's on TV working for ESPN. That whole network is full of dopes.
