Not quite, thanks. I still remember my Dad taking me to a Sox-Browns game in either 1948 or 49. Satchel Paige pitched for the Browns, and he drew a pretty big crowd, as I remember. He did his funny wind up and threw the eephus pitch. Crowd loved it, of course. But the Browns had horrible teams, always in last place. Mickey Mantle was quoted once that after Ned Garver pitched, they had nobody. Back in the 30-s or early 40's they even had a one-armed left fielder.
