  1. Not true. Our oldest ex president calls himself Jimmy, as do I.
  2. Cooper not wanting pitchers to throw a curve ball is nuts.
  3. Both positive and negative impacts.
  4. Last I saw these guys couldn't get anyone out. Neither one.
  5. I saw the replay of Mendick getting thrown out at third. Not very swift, and the slide was lousy.
  6. Especially if you are not an ex-player. I'm just an observer, but it always rankled me that ex jocks get those plum broadcasting gigs, and they usually aren't better than the non-jocks. Of course, I loved Hawk and have high regard for Stone, so there you go. Rockies have certainly had their share of ex jock dodos on the mic. So many non jock broadcasters added so much to the game over the years, including Vin Scully, Ernie Harwell, on and on. Put Harry Carry in there, too.
  7. IIRC, Law lampooned White Sox brass for trading Tatis immediately.
  8. Classic stuff. Thanks, man.
  9. Yeah. Kinda like EE last year. And a couple other guys the year before. All Yermin can do is hit. Don't let him near the roster.
  10. Giolito should stick to pitching and leave the evaluation stuff to SoxTalk.
  11. Rockies' Brass supposed to have a presser today in Denver. Woody and Kiz will no doubt put the wood to them in Wed papers.
  12. The Commissioner should step in and disallow the trade from going through. It's that one-sided. Owner Monfort thinking only of his own pocketbook. The trade is a joke and bad for baseball. The same can be said for Monfort.
  13. Actually, Kiszla, who is the epitome of of negative basher writer, could have been worse, although he did make fun of GM Bridich. But, he is just getting started. His articles will probably continue all week. We don't know yet how much owner Monfort was involved in the negotiations. Bridich did go to Harvard, as did our guy, Rick Hahn, by the way.
  14. Rox will be blasted by the local media, IMO. should be interesting reading.
