  1. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 08:50 PM) I didn't know slugging % for a leadoff hitter was a requirement.. But it was .388.. To me OBP, (how often a player)Ks, Runs, and SBs. I could care less if they hit 20 hrs... That what your middle of the order guys are for. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 09:06 PM) If you thought I was talking 2011, Pierre, than you are a bigger fool than the one who wanted Lilly to replace Dunn. And I have some Ocean property in Utah to sell to you. HRs are great, but if you think they are needed in leadoff spot, and not a luxury.. I suggest you educate yourself on the game. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 09:07 PM) but that doesn't mean that a HR isn't better! What is more likely to produce a run, getting to first base on a single, getting to 2nd on a double, or getting home on a hr? A leadoff hitter with a .340 Obp and 20 homers is a big upgrade on a leadoff hitter with a .350 Obp and 1 hr. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 09:14 PM) I never stated a HR isn't better.. Just not needed as much. If your leadoff hitter is getting 20 HRs 1 of 2 things is happening 1. He is Ricky Henderson or 2. and More likely, your manager is wasting that players talent, and could be better served in the middle of the lineup.. like the 6 hole. Take for instance, Alex Gordon.. He should be playing at 5/6 in that lineup.. Since he is a better HR hitter and in theory more people will be on base for him to knock them in with his HR. At his current place of 1, the likelyhood 7-8-9 are on base.. Are not as likely as 2-3-4... QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 09:22 PM) He might also Turn white and have gold shoot out his ass... But the likely of these 3 things happening in 2012.. are slim and none... and None is leading by 20 lengths and slim is fading faster than the Sox playoff hopes in June. DODGED.
  2. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 06:52 PM) I think him playing LF, Rios in CF and Tank in RF is the 2012 White Sox Starting OF. Leading off, sadly he might be the best option. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 06:53 PM) Why is that sad? If he is capable, then let him. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:04 PM) At best, he has a Juan Pierre type season.. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:12 PM) At best? Juan Pierre can't run or field any more and has no power. De Aza with a handful of doubles would massively upgrade on Pierre. Only q is if he can keep the average up. He hits .270 and he is a massive upgrade on Pierre. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:15 PM) The dude will be 28 right at the start of next year season.. History tells me, a 27 year old minor league getting his big break... isn't exactly a show stopper. So having a Pierre type offensive season, is the best we can hope for. Defensively My dead grandmother is better than JP. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:19 PM) actually 23... But, making excuses isn't going to sell me on him not being that great. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:22 PM) He doesnt need to be great to be better than Pierre. Average would be a huge upgrade. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:24 PM) So hitting at or around .300, stealing 40+ bags, and having around .350 OBP... sound good to you? DODGED AGAIN.

  4. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 05:41 PM) 100% correct.. most people in life take offense when they think their opinions are correct/factually. Yes. You. Do. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:00 PM) Because on August 1st every Baseball person in North American if not the world was still going.. there is no way Dunn doesn't start hitting for starters. 2nd, Ozzie benches Dunn for Lilly... 2 problems, 1 the CT comes out how Ozzie hates Kenny.. which who cares.. 2. Lilly just came off a month of hitting about as great as Dunn.. At the time, no one would have said it was a smart move. Now looking back, sure.. I personally think Dunn never fully recovered from his surgery, but is either to proud or stupid to admit it. And the off-season he finally recovers has a great 2012.. with or without Ozzie here. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:05 PM) By August 1st? No way. Even national writers were writing articles about how historically bad that Dunn had been. June 1, sure. July 1, maybe. By August 1st no one was really left saying start Dunn, especially in the 4th slot. Break out google and look around. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 07:09 PM) You never answered this, just dodged it.. Where do you stick him in a lineup, and who gets moved up...? DODGED.
  5. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:56 PM) So, let me get this straight.. I have to prove your speculation (which you are calling #s) wrong, based on your opinion of a small sample size. That's what you are asking me right? No, prove his facts. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:58 PM) I'm still waiting for you to quit dodging and provide any kind of solid numbers to back up what you are saying. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 04:03 PM) LOL, quit dodging you playing what if.. w/o facts.. I'm done.. thanks for the laugh here.. come back when you have something more than a what if... You're really bad at this you know that? I can't wait till they fire Ozzie, and the team still fails.. what's your excuse then going to be? You give nothing but speculation and demand it be proven wrong. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 04:04 PM) I didn't.. I played baseball... All you motherf***ers sound a like. Most of us played ball in high school as well but don't use it as a basis for arguments. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 04:14 PM) Lets get back on track here... GoodBye Mark, I love you.. but, I can't see a need for him at this time. I would think at this point in his career, he wants a chance at another ring.. which I don't see this team close to it for 2012.. I don't want another aging vet with a huge contract, we need to rid ourselves as many of those as we can. YOU JUST f***ING CHANGED TRACKS, TRAIN MODELS, TRAIN COMPANIES, AND CONTINENTS ALL TOGETHER. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 04:46 PM) I don't think.. I know I did.. Lets recap shall we.. S/he argument is that, we replace Lilly in August, for Dunn. Now, s/he makes no mention of when.. Lets for argument sake state August 1. And why does S/he pick that month, and not prior.. well that's easy when you look at some facts...August was by far his most productive month, hitting .265/6/14...we know that now. At the time Lilly just hit .188 for July, and .212 for June. Here Comes Ozzie on August 1st and goes.. You know what, I am benching Dunn for a guy hitting .200 over the last 2 months, and has over the course of a season been a bench utl player, and has failed as a starter in his career when given the chance. I can just see how SS2k5 and other Ozzie haters, just love this move.. And argue with others on how this is putting the "best" players on the field. See now that s/he knows the numbers, it easy to sit back and play the What if game.. which is what Ss2k5 did.. and no one wins at that game, because it can be played till the end of days (bad movie by the way). It pure speculation, zero facts. When has Lilli been allowed to be a starter and failed? Give me f***ing proof.
  6. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:27 PM) I would love to drop him to 7-8-9th... But since we have players who are doing slightly better already there.. not much else place to put him... With Rios, Beckham and Morel.. all at or below their weight in hitting.. hard to place him there. We could drop him to 6th, but that's still not doing much. If you are trying to insult me, with the Ozzie comments.. Its failing, I respect Ozzie. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:29 PM) What really happened is this, KW signed an aging slugger on the decline.. you fail to admit that, instead pass all the blame on Ozzie, for KW poorly built club. Now, as before today.. Spin this so you don't admit you are wrong... again. Instead pick a flaw in this typing and attack.. as if that carries some merit. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:49 PM) ahh you are one of those guys...Here I gave you small sample so of course, it proves on a larger scale.. Showcase how playing Lilly everyday.. makes this team better.. over the long hall 4 months to be exact. I want evidence, proof, that this team is better with Lilly over Dunn.. ie Wins and Losses. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:51 PM) I have thrown out tons of numbers. I want you to actually prove they weren't going to better. For once, ACTUALLY show me something. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:55 PM) "We have no idea if we'll win more games by playing guys who can actually hit a little so lets just continue batting the worst hitter in baseball in the cleanup position." More dodging.
  7. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:11 PM) You do realize this is a 162 game season, players get burned out.. So you are willing to loose those games, just so your UTL player can get some Abs.. You never played the game have you? You're sounding awful familiar now. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:13 PM) You do realize, this isn't PS3 baseball this is real time baseball.. And these things matter right? You are taking a small sample size and stating that it would work.. I don't think it will at all. I think Lilly is where he will be for the duration of his MLB playing time, baring and rebuilding team.. as a UTL player. A SMALL SAMPLE SIZE OF SUCCESS INSTEAD OF A LARGE ONE OF SUCK. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:16 PM) Again, if you take August as an example, Brent would have had to have gone 0-36, or more, just to match Dunn's batting average. That still leaves out the extra 5 homers and 12 RBIs he had. I think to match his OPS he would have literally had to go something like 0-125. In other words, Brent could have had to literally done nothing the entire month in the extra ABs he would have gotten and he still wouldn't have been worse than Dunn statistically on offense. That is still totally ignoring that Brent Lillibridge is at worst an average defender, and a plus defender in the OF, if he had played those positions while someone like Juan Pierre, Carlos Quentin, or PK DH'd for a day. Those are real statistics, unlike your pie in the sky hyperbolic misdirects you keep throwing out there. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:16 PM) What about a 4 month sample size that showed Adam Dunn was the worst hitter in baseball? Why are you constantly ignoring that fact? Not only was he godawful but he was playing every single day for 4 months straight, in the cleanup position. Somehow this fact isn't important to you, your father Ozzie, and your brother Oney. Continuing to march him out there day in and day out was of utmost importance for some reason as he continued to either strikeout or pop out. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:18 PM) huh? You go from confusing to off the wall nuts with this one. A small sample size isn't the best idea to take on for a large argument. No, you're DODGING A f***ING QUESTION. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:18 PM) Way to ignore what really happened for your fantasy land. You keep talking about "proof" and instead floating off to your HyperboleLand condo. I laid out statistical reality for you, and you still are ignoring it. Just like this entire thread has been.
  8. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 02:53 PM) If Dunn was alone the problem.. then you have a point. But to say Lilly plays for Dunn.. And poof, everything works out.. Is silly talk. Cause people are forgetting Morel, Beckham And Rios are all having far from MLB season at the dish... If they have MLB type seasons, we can move Dunn down, if not out of the lineup.. But they were not... Why??? Cause Ozzie made them suck?... How? QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 02:58 PM) Who is saying that? For the 8945798th time, we are saying play your best available players and see what happens. After 4 months of hitting in the .150s and striking out at a record pace, it was clear Adam Dunn was no longer in the conversation when discussing 'best available players'. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:00 PM) Then who replaces Lilly, as the UTL man to spill the regulars... And produce as Lilly had all season. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:01 PM) And who replaces all of them? QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:02 PM) Who gives a f***? Isn't it more important that you get the worst hitter in MLB out of the daily starting lineup? Especially when said hitter is also batting cleanup every day? First step is getting rid of the lineup cancer. The highly paid manager would then need to get creative with his utility players and spot start candidates. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 03:03 PM) So you don't have an answer... Shocking. Neither do you...really f***ing shocking.
  9. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 12:42 PM) Kenny likes to throw Ozzie under the bus, just as much as Ozzie throws Kenny under the bus.... SO it obvious what needs to happen Hide the bus! Neither of them did this. But Ozzie threw Viciedo there. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 12:54 PM) And play who? Sorry that's a cop out argument... Here is the problem, in a normal team, you bat him 7-8-9th to get out of his slump... on this team you do that.. One inning you have a 3 up and 3 down, from 3/4 here of Beckham, Morel, Rios and Dunn. So you bench the other 3 guys as well? No, but you sure as f*** don't have him batting 3rd or 4th with Rios right there. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 12:59 PM) So he played roughly 16 games... OOOO NOOO out of 28 games... Are you wanting Beckham Benched as well? Morel? Rios? Who replaces these guys if the answer is yes? Morel and Gordon both provide phenomenal D. De Aza for Rios, Viciedo for Dunn. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 12:59 PM) Seriously? Who else could he have played? I dunno, Lilibridge, Vicedo, me, Hawk, literally anyone other than the player having the worst season in the history of the sport. Is that really an earth shattering revelation to you? QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 01:06 PM) And who plays for Rios and Dunn? Because winning teams have 26million in 2 bench players all the time.. Not like you referenced the Giants earlier or anything QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 01:23 PM) Well if 48abs is allot for Dunn, a bench player getting 49 might be huge.. don't you think? No, when Dunn shouldn't be hitting at all, it's not. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 01:51 PM) The fact people are stating Lilly would have saved this team is downright laughable. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 01:51 PM) And what the fans thought in April is relevant how? The object here was/is to win baseball games. Less Dunn and more Lillibridge gives you a better chance to do just that. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 01:52 PM) There's that word again. Wanna rethink that? There's a difference between "saved" and putting the best players on the field. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 02:19 PM) I don't think I stated anything wrong there. It seems that people(not just here, in real life as well) thinking Lilly playing everyday, the sox are going to the playoffs. Which is simple not true.. And how is playing your best UTL man everyday going to help you win? Who replaces him then? IGNORE MORE POINTS.
  10. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:51 AM) 2006: second-half collapse 2007: 90 losses 2008: barely won the division; dismissed with ease by Tampa. 2009: sub-.500 record 2010: another second-half choke 2011: team-record payroll; 15 games out. That's a whole lot of fail. Especially when the top 3 AL powerhouses are in the AL east. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 10:12 AM) 2006: Zero Bullpen, and zero help at the deadline... OOO and lack of CF which is a theme for a while..You give Ozzie some Bullpen help and a starting CF.. Different story. 2007: Erstad was the fa-king opening day CF.. Sorry this is one of many Sox teams that was lacking talent. so many holes, so little talent 2008: Carlos breaks his hand, Swisher is opening Day CF ( which IMO was his worst position) which is also a overreaction since Erstad failed to pan out. I think we all wonder, what would have happened if Carlos doesn't break his hand, how far could they have gone.. I do agree the talent looked completely overmatch compared to Tampa, but that's Ozzie's fault? 2009: First see 2007 then Another KW, draft pick goes belly up in Josh Fields, so zero 3b, until they rushed Beckham up to save.. Zero CF, until KW thinking he is blocking DET get Rios off the waiver wire. ( that worked out well for us huh?) 2010: Jenks( do I need to say more?) he should have been traded at the end of the 08 season IMO, Beckham regress, and drumroll please, when they needed RP, Kenny went out and got them SP.. Though on the bright side, the Sox have their first CF since Rowand left.. 4.5 year later. Or so we thought. 2011: KW built team that is "All IN" but mostly strike out. I'm not at all thinking Ozzie is perfect... But, the majority of the problem with this organization starts with Kenny. And I saw earlier you mention both should be fired.. I agree. But if I have to pick one to get fired.. Kenny is the guy. '06: We had a great BP going into the year. '07: Oz's choice. '08: Swisher wasn't opening day CF. '09: We had zero CF because Ozzie really f***ing love Wise. '10: Ozzie kept trotting Jenks out. '11: They are towards the bottom in strikeouts. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 10:57 AM) Yet you felt justified in saying no one ever blames KW for anything... DIDN'T RESPOND
  11. QUOTE (Melissa1334 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:29 AM) then how did the sox win in a hitters park in 05 and why havent the padres or braves won a w.s. recently? and the yankees won a w.s. in probably the best hitters park lol DODGED. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:30 AM) I guess when you are wrong, just look the other way.. You want to prove Ozzie was the problem, then gave some examples.. which were debunked, then attacked on other things.. and now try to save face, by spinning again. Look if you can't come up with examples, then we are done. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:30 AM) Sez the guy who hasn't proved anything when called on it? Please. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:30 AM) I did... I don't think you got mine. NO. YOU DIDN'T GET HIS. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:32 AM) This isn't about me, this is about you.. And YOU Proving Ozzie is the problem, but since you can't... you make it about me, to save your face. Nah, it's about you. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:33 AM) Now we get to your Ozzie argument.. Thank you, I knew you had it in you. Is it in you? QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:33 AM) Park Correction Factors, 2011 Seems like a pretty mixed bag of hitters v pitchers and which teams are good He won't acknowledge it. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:34 AM) I have. I have given examples, stats, trends, and pretty much anything else. You haven't given a damned thing other than conjecture. I am still waiting for your answers on the many things people have questioned you on, that you have ignored. He won't give them! QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:46 AM) List out those 6 years please.
  12. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:22 AM) You're still using the great Javy as your example... Wow... Even when proven wrong you stick to your guns. Javy had a really f***ing good year right after leaving. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:22 AM) And have been shot down... try again. Yes, you had been. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:24 AM) Not even close. Plus you still haven't been able to explain the stadium thing, the spring training thing, nor why these guys fail when they get here. So I guess you can't be shot down when you just ignore every challenge that gets made to you. But wait, is that DODGING? QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:25 AM) You know admitting you're wrong, would go a long way here... YES IT f***ING WOULD. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:26 AM) No.. he would have won the CY in 2010, if it wasn't for those pesky stats. EXCEPT THERE'S THIS LITTLE THING CALLED NEW YORK. IN ATLANTA HE ALMOST DID WIN THE CY YOUNG. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:26 AM) I agree.. HE WAS MOCKING YOU. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:28 AM) lol. You can't prove a damned thing, which is why you've gone straight to the third graded on the playground strategy. What is your next work? na-na-na? That's dodging!
  13. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:12 AM) Martinez would have been the smart signing, looking back on it. But hindsight is 20/20. Dunn, can play the OF and 1b.. not very well but can if need be. I also looked at him if Paulie went to AZI as his replacement. Now if Kenny went out and grabbed an older guy who couldn't play the field at all, then I say you have a point. We tried signing Martinez. And Dunn. And probably Paulie. V-Mart would have caught. So, wait, what, we did try to sign the guy you wanted?! Crazy! Also the Tigers really wanted Dunn too. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:14 AM) So only the teams that come out guns blazing are winners? No, but it sure as f*** helps. If the Red Sox miss the playoffs its because they had a s*** start as well. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:16 AM) That's a pretty interesting dichotomy you've made up there. No, teams that always come out playing flat that also happen to follow the manager's philosophy of taking it easy on vets during ST and not pushing the team to get ready probably don't have the best approach and dig themselves into a big hole because of it. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:17 AM) Do you want to explain how veterans consistently fail in Chicago, and yet that is Kenny Williams fault? Never answered. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:18 AM) Like giving Ozzie new players pretty much every year? Never answered. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:18 AM) Give me some examples... HOW ABOUT YOU GIVE A f***ING EXAMPLE. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:21 AM) I'm still waiting on definitive proof that pitchers parks are a good way to win championships. DODGED.
  14. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:48 AM) Hey victory is there anything Ozzie could ever do or not do that would cause you to think he's not a good manager? QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:49 AM) I have never heard that said. Link? Oh hey! Two questions that you dodged. You never provided a link to this mythical quote and never answered StrangeSox. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:05 AM) Nice find, and if that is the case.. I blame Kenny.. if a player is on the decline, and you ink him to a huge $ 4 year deal.. What player is going to go nope, I really don't deserve it. Then for the fans, the easy scapegoat is the manager. A slump is not a f***ing decline or Paul Konerko would be done in baseball. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 09:08 AM) Its true, once a player who has been consistent for the better part of a decade has one bad part of a season, he's "on the decline" and should never be signed to a big money contract again. Hey! He never responded to this s***.
  15. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 20, 2011 -> 08:34 PM) Well since s/he never did.. all s/he did was.. the question, .. I would expect anything less than go find it.. Since it is never there, I never will. S/he hope is that I will forget about it. I just went through the entire thread... ZERO answers to that. Though, I did have a good laugh at Sk 2.0 again trying to use Javy as an example.. quite entertaining. Oh f*** no. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:30 AM) But, there is allot of bad money on that team as well. They also have a great pitchers park, which history has proven is easier to build a winner. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:30 AM) Huh? QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:31 AM) Can you give me an actually question? Can you give him an actually answer? No. You can't. You dodged it. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:36 AM) Can you establish beyond any sort of doubt that a pitchers park helps a team build a winner? Thinking back over the last decade, you've got teams like the Yankees, Phillies, and Red Sox with hitters parks, the Rangers have become a winner with a hitters park, the White Sox won in a hitters park, the Rockies had a WS appearance, the Diamondbacks have a WS win, the Astros had a WS appearance, the Twins had a ton of playoff appearances while in a hitters park, switched to a pitchers' park, and still made the playoffs. You said it's 100% certain that a pitchers park helps build a winner, but if that were true, then we'd have a lot more pitchers parks. QUOTE (VictoryMC98 @ Sep 19, 2011 -> 08:41 AM) I am stating what some GMs have stated over the years.. repeating it. The f*** you did. You stated that pitchers parks make easy winners as shown by history. What's this? A dodge.
