  1. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Apr 20, 2011 -> 03:50 AM) Pretty sure you can't at that stage. My advice would be to do a re-load before that happens, do other missions to build your paragon up, and then you should be able to choose the paragon response when you get to that confrontation. Otherwise, you won't be able to save whichever one isn't loyal to you for the final mission. Decided I'm gonna do this.
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 20, 2011 -> 08:04 AM) Blocks are a terrible way to measure defense. Getting beat to the basket and swating someone from behind doesn't make you a good defender. Yes, but that seems to be why LeBron is regarded as a godly defender, because of his highlight blocks.
  3. So, going through Mass Effect 2, just got to the Jack/Miranda fight. Sided with Miranda, lost Jack's loyalty. I got 4 of the 5 Paragon bars filled up...how can I get Jack's loyalty back?
  4. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Apr 20, 2011 -> 12:32 AM) Looks like Rose had a higher defensive win share than Paul this year and equal points allowed per 100 possessions. I don't know enough about basketball metrics to evaluate that, but there it is. As for the Paul/Rose debate, Rose is my #1 with a close Paul, when he's healthy. What's worse is when Rondo gets brought into these debates. It's Rose vs. Paul, with Williams getting the bronze. Then let Westbrook and Nash duke it out for 4th.
  5. I'd like to point out Rose has more blocks than James and more offensive rebounds. Rose is good as a defender.
  6. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 18, 2011 -> 12:39 AM) K. Changed it.
  7. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 09:55 PM) ...And? Wall has improved alot since high school and his b-ball I.Q. is off the charts. This dude averaged 16-5-8 as a rookie. I would think you'd give him a summer to see if he can improve his weaknesses before he's pegged another player with no drive. The and is because he seems to me to be mostly flash with little fire, since college, which includes his stupid John Wall dance. He just makes me think of a guy who's all party because he reached the NBA and being with McGee, Blatche and Young doesn't help. Also, I want to see what he averages on a good team. His assists probably go up while rebounds and points go down. Rose has an absolutely unnatural drive compared to him, I mean the guy misses one free throw against the Clippers, albeit to win the game, but then becomes nearly automatic from the free throw line. That's not even talking about the other facets of the game he improves.
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 11:22 PM) Catch all item: Who puts the little funny comment under our names. Mine is ad nauseum which is starting to make me nauseous. Can't I change it to Rock Star or something? Come on greg. You need to change it. To something That isn't as cliche as Rock star.
  9. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 09:10 PM) Well, maybe next year or in two years we'll see some John Wall/Derrick Rose trade proposals. Wall is up and comming whereas Rose is older with much more mileage on his body. Yeah, but Rose has insane drive while John Wall dougies before games. And its not Chris Paul's age, though that is a factor, its the fact that for a lot of the season he had a monstrosity attached to his knee.
  10. QUOTE (kev211 @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 07:45 PM) This. I like the Bears, but I am not a die hard by any stretch of the imagination. If the new team made the right moves they could easily win me over. A second basketball team winning me over? Not a chance. +1
  11. QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 17, 2011 -> 06:28 PM) A second basketball team would fail in Chicago. A second NFL team with nicer facilities and decent prices might succeed though. A second NFL team that won a bit would succeed. This city can only deal with Lovie/Angelo/McCaskeys for so long A second basketball team would fail, hence why I said "inexplicably".
  12. If the Hornets move and inexplicably it was to Chicago, then a Rose-CP3 intra-city matchup would be amazing.
  13. QUOTE (Felix @ Apr 15, 2011 -> 08:43 PM) Personally, I'm blaming Adam Dunn for this. His cavalier attitude defensively has clearly impacted Alexei and Morel on the left side of the infield. Maybe if we had a true leader at DH, he'd be more concerned with pumping up his teammates to pick it up on the defensive end. I think this is pretty well documented in his team's struggles throughout his career. Felix, you're a badass.
  14. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 15, 2011 -> 11:35 PM) Jesus Christ in a dump truck. This will be what I say from now on when Dunn hits a home run. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Apr 16, 2011 -> 12:05 AM) Felix is straight owning you fools. This, Felix has gotta be trollin'. Really well to, this thread has me laughing hysterically.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 12:47 PM) I had the Cuban Comet sandwich last night. Holy hell it is a DONT MISS item. Located in section 152 i believe. Right next to the Tex-Mex stand that was turning out 2lb souvenir nachos. The Comet stand started last year, with the Italian Ice stands. Which speaking of, the Italian Ice stands are the s***.
  16. Oh great, another curse for them to b**** about.
  17. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 08:24 PM) But I like vagina This had me laugh out loud at its bluntness. Anyway, the Rose "pure PG" crap gets summed up in this. Ray Allen is a better "Pure SG" than Jordan. But man, no one can stop these Bulls. Only team I fear is the Lakers and they might not have Bynum.

    It can...

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 13, 2011 -> 10:02 PM) I agree completely. I'm not punting the season because the bullpen sucks on April 13th. Now if a month from now we're having the same issues, I will dominate. Stop being so f'in pessimistic J4L.
  19. I'd like to see Infante called up. Trade Pena back to the D-Backs for Putz. I miss shortening games to 6 innings.
  20. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 12, 2011 -> 09:08 PM) i hate mark ellis I hate Tony Pena.
  21. First 18 games of the season, Bulls D averaged 100.2 ppg Las 62? 88.2. That is absolutely insane. Also, Jack Ramsay picked Keith Bogans as DPOY and Manu as MVP.
  22. QUOTE (Felix @ Apr 11, 2011 -> 10:03 PM) Chris Paul > Derrick Rose Have at it. Felix, at this point it really seems like you're trolling. No one is going Aldridge > Love out of nowhere, even though I know you will be (rightfully) furious if Aldridge gets the MIP.
