Slash being there only means next year will be a GNR reunion with an overweight Axl Rose.
-
QUOTE (zenryan @ Feb 6, 2011 -> 07:23 PM) Even Carl Lewis thinks this is bad.

When I said Slash makes everything better, I did not mean for Fergie to bastardize Sweet Child O'Mine.

Slash makes everything better.

This half time show is worse than I expected.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Feb 6, 2011 -> 06:53 PM) Roethlisberger was better when he was raping people. Great stress relief

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 6, 2011 -> 03:34 PM) The "all-in" epidemic is getting out of hand now. I feel like I hear this term every five seconds. Think of something else, people! I agree with this.

QUOTE (Pale Sox @ Feb 6, 2011 -> 01:11 AM) everybody is trying to win in some capacity. some teams are just better at it than others. Pirates.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 5, 2011 -> 10:44 PM) "Congrats on winning the World Series young man. " "Thank you, Sir. Now can I please see your actual birth certificate before I call you Mr. President?" "Hell...um...Mr. President...how are you?" "b****, here's my birth certificate. Now get out of my country." And Luke Scott was never seen again. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 5, 2011 -> 11:25 PM) I get what you are saying, but only the Yankees have more WS wins than the Marlins in the last 20 years. And the Indians controlled the AL Central for a pretty long time. The Astros GM tries every year, that's part of the reason they are in such bad shape. Yeah, but when will the Marlins spend money on the team and not Loria's art project stadium? Indians did control the central, but god have they gone downhill. They've traded away two AL Cy Young winners with what to show for it? They got more for Casey-freaking-Blake then they did Cliff Lee or CC Sabathia. Astros just make bad moves. As for the Nationals...eh. They go for the big time free agents but none of the glue guys.

Just looked it up, Omar has 2,799 hits. Chances he plays long enough to reach 3,000? My gu says no, but it also says that he defies age like no one not named Julio Franco.
-
At least they are trying, unlike the Pirates, Indians, Royals, Astros, Marlins, Nats, etc.

This move has me so stoked because just last year this guy was a hot commodity and now we have a placeholder for Mitchell and Viciedo (who I think will end up taking over in left and right respectively, in the end)

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 07:25 PM) I warned you. I don't have a problem with Bosh making it. Everybody knows on another team he's a 24/10 guy, at least. Can't penalize him because he plays with two of the top 5 players in the game. No, his interview. He was crying about how tough this year has been for him.

f***ING BOSH.

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 05:58 PM) 4 Celtics I'm okay with, best team in the East deserves to have representation, the only 2 Heat players should be the ones starting, Horford is deserving. Outside of the starting 5, there hasn't been a ton of compelling arguments for the Eastern Conference all-stars. Bosh and Johnson should not be there if Luol isn't. KG missed less games than Boozer, but Boozer has better numbers. If Love isn't on the roster, it's sickening.
-
4 Celtics is ridiculous. 2 Hawks is ridiculous. 3 Heat is ridiculous. Love not being on there is ridiculous. If Boozer isn't there, then KG shouldn't be either. If Bosh or Joe Johnson is there, Deng should be too. And if Derrick Rose didn't become the MVP tonight, that's ridiculous too.
-
Boozer or Deng better be named an All-Star tonight, because if the Hawks and Heat have 3 apiece and the Bulls have one, something is wrong.

QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 05:09 PM) Dammit I'll be glad when I reach the point in my life when I'll consider $500,000 to be NO RISK. I too would like to own a MLB Team.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 05:04 PM) FWIW, I think there was a running joke about how Jermaine Dye wasn't really black since Juan Uribe called him a white guy. Everybody probably just went with it. Yeah, that was funny. But Oney was an ass, so it's all in the air.
-
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 05:00 PM) Milledge gets $500K if he makes the team, no incentives. This deal is awesome. No risk, all reward.
-
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 04:49 PM) I know Edwin Jackson is black (although born in Germany), but is Juan Pierre black, hispanic, or french? Black. He was born in Alabama. He's named for Juan Marichal.

QUOTE (flavum @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 04:39 PM) Fun http://twitter.com/Oneyguillen/status/33271017677783040 Oney loves him the black guys. Real ones, whatever the f*** that means. I'm gonna assume it means he likes rap? DAMNIT ONEY! Now I must know what a "real" black guy is! QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Feb 3, 2011 -> 04:42 PM) I was under the impression that the 25th spot was between Lillbridge and De Aza. And since Milledge is better than De Aza, I would assume it would be The Battle of the Millibridge in spring training. +1 for Battle of the Millibridge

Don't think Nunez or Humber make the BP or Sale in the rotation. Also, I think Infante does make the BP. But good work as always JPN.
