QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 01:51 PM) I assume it was the touchdown to what'shisface against the 49ers. That was a pretty marvelous play. Yup. I'd still take Buehrle's or (what I think should have won) that college kid going all Willie Mays Hayes and jumping over the catcher to home.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 11:35 AM) He was up for the award, but R. Rondo won. They showed footage of the perfect game as well. Favre won it, when all the other plays were more impressive.

If we got Dan Haren, I would die of joy. It would take something like: Hudson, Flowers, Torres, Morel, Short, and then maybe Gilmore on top of that. But I'd do it in a heart beat. With a healthy Peavy and Sale in the wings, that's the scariest 1-6 in the majors, far more then what we thought this years team would. Only problem is I don't know the trade relations since Byrnes was fired.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 08:11 AM) If the stuff about his private life/kids hasn't strongly suggested "This isn't a good guy" to you, and the way the Lebron shenanigoats went down hasn't added on to that, then I'm not sure what it'll take to convince you. I meant specifics that only whitesoxfan101 would know. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 09:25 AM) Exactly. I do have sources though, although you don't really need them to know all of that about Wade. The con man that is Dwyane Wade is kind of an open book down there, but people choose to ignore it because he's a great player, as well as the fact he covers for himself well by attaching to some positive stuff done in the community down there. That's what I meant, since you said multiply what we think about him by 10.

You know what would be absolutely crazily awesome? If Reed decided suddenly to live up to his potential (well, that he had) and went to RF while Q DHed. It'd be like Freddy or Pods, yet about 1000 times less likely and 10000 times more awesome.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 12:56 AM) Let me tell you, whatever you've heard about Dwyane Wade, multiply it times 5 (maybe even 10) and only then do you have the real story. Classic con man and has been for years, but now the whole world knows it. He's a heck of a player and has built a heck of a basketball team around himself though, I'll give him that. But just a bad guy. ...sources?

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 11:40 PM) I've said for two years that Wade had no intention of coming to the Bulls, and sadly, it seems like the information was correct. I give Wade credit though, he's the most powerful person in the NBA now. He really is, which is sad. He is also the douchiest.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 11:22 PM) Nah...I am a boob man... I could have sworn you were a left ear man.

QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 10:39 PM) I like one of the quotes from a poster on realgm. Rose with a 3-point shot will be lethal. Absolutely lethal.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 09:47 PM) Very nice remix, I like what you did with the colors. Thanks. They were meant to represent the outlook on the season getting brighter and brighter.

http://www.nba.com/summerleague/games/2010...I/gameinfo.html Bulls on the Summer League Roster of note: James Johnson: 7 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, 6 fouls Joe Alexander: DNP (injury most likely) John Lucas III: 25 points, 3 assists, 9-12 from the field, 6-6 from behind the arc Derrick Byars: 0 points Chris Richard: 3 points, 7 rebounds Matt Bouldin: 8 points, 3 assists, 3 rebounds, 2-5, 2-4 from behind the arc Lucas seems to be making a case for back up PG. He's 27, has NBA experience, but is playing out his mind right now.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 09:11 PM) Do not upload to YouTube...they'll ninja you within seconds. I've made it unlisted. It's just there for a few seconds.

There's my remix version. Just realized this will probably be taken down due to MLB being crazy. If it is, I'll reupload it to a different site. Edit: Just discovered there is a part with Hawk sounding like a chipmunk...gonna fix that. Double Edit: Nevermind, thats in the raw video.

Lawrence Holmes just nicknamed Viciedo Tank or the Cuban Pimp. Ok Lawrence, which member are you?

QUOTE (WHarris1 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 07:57 PM) I have always liked Ron Ron. Now I just like him a little more.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 07:39 PM) My favorite post of the thread... Now Greg can never say anything bad about Teahen. :notworthy

QUOTE (Chi Town Sox @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 05:46 PM) Who was telling me in this thread awhile back that David Kahn has made better moves lately? That's 4 PG's, unless Sessions gets dealt http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/38243622/ns/...ts-player_news/ You dare question the great David Kahn?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 05:34 PM) Hmph, Bill Simmons was talking about this on his podcast today. The LeBacle show on ESPN supposedly raised about $6 million in ad sales. $2.5 million was given to charity. Wonder where the other $3.5 million went. What the ****. Can't even make your cover nice, can you LeBron?

Just finished the game. I enjoyed the rancher part of the game, it wasn't that bad. I don't know if they are gonna continue with DLC or a Sequel though. I'd prefer DLC.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 05:10 PM) So, you're saying that he's very good at cornholing? And since you were so bad, would you say that he really gave it to you? This thread is already priceless. Also, by the thread title, I thought the Ultimate Warrior had returned.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 03:49 PM) You forgot to include Linebrink as a poll option I'd go Putz. He's showing signs of being his old self, then Thornton, then Bobby, then Sergio. Regardless, having 4 guys who you can call on in that situation is a blessing.

QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 03:01 PM) The D League would have better backups than those overpriced guys. http://www.nba.com/dleague/statistics/play...tDD=All%20Teams How about JamesOn Curry? His name is similar to LeBron and I believe he has owned a Bulls uniform before. QUOTE (thxfrthmmrs @ Jul 14, 2010 -> 04:29 PM) nice catch man ... limb - limp same difference. About Omer Asik From Wikipedia Looks like this guy is a bit of an injury prone and had some knee surgeries in the past. For a 7 footer, it's gonna be problematic. From what I've read, he is a great shot blocker, but his offensive game is limited. Base on his injuries and lack of offensive game, should we hunt for an scoring big man, perhaps bringing back Brad, so he can serve as an insurance, if not a mentor for our youngsters? I'd bring back Brad to teach Asik an offensive game. Edit: JR regrets losing Kirk and not getting a top flight FA http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=394087
