I think the Heat will burst out the gates for what its worth, but one thing is overlooked. Every team is going to step up their game and intensity against the Heat. Thome will go in as an Indian. Only way he would have went with the Sox if he was still here and hit 600 and 650 as a Sox player, and even then its a stretch.

One of Andruw-Kotsay gets DFA'd for Teahen. I lean towards Kotsay. Lillibridge stays with team, Teahen becomes DH with Omar/Dayan at 3rd. Kenny does some crazy move that none of us see coming but it makes all the sense in the world. Alejandro De Aza sees some time on the big league squad. Gordon Beckham hits .300+ from here on out.

I'd love for there to be tampering... The Joe Smith T-Wolves cost was 3 first rounders and the last year of his contract voided. So in theory, it would cost the Heat 6 first rounders and a year off the contracts of Bosh and James. That would be hilariously awesome, especially since they essentially gave all their picks to the Raptors and Cavs.
