Maybe a new director of minor league development will help him out.
-
At minimum, demote him to WinstonResident

https://www.mlb.com/prospects/stats/affiliates?teamId=145&date=08/25/2023 https://www.milb.com/scores/all/all/whitesox 3-2 across the org again. Thompson going for Birmingham. What strange world will Bama return to? KW & Hahn gone, Getz temp-o-permanently running the ship, Wolkow and Burrowes in Kanny, Charlotte winning a slugfest at home, and top prospects Elvis Andrus (BA #37, 2009) and Andrew Benintendi (BA #1, 2017) hitting home runs in the same game.

Why did Luis not also rob that one?

Luis Robert is amazing.

Keynan Middleton rips White Sox 'no rules' culture
Quin replied to maxjusttyped's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Ultimate flex by a new GM would be signing Keynan Middleton. -
Every time you say this, it makes me think your source is either fucking with you or is a complete moron. The "for whatever reason" is cause s%*# like this happened. He still hit the f*** out of the ball and the Cubs could have traded the Quintana package for something much more. The Cubs got clowned for that trade, continued getting clowned for that trade, and their "revenge" for Eloy and Dylan Cease is Madrigal and Heuer. And according to Kaplan, Ed Howard was "revenge" for the Quintana trade. Take that with a grain of salt though, cause it was probably Kaplan running on copium. If the Cubs were ridiculing Hahn for trading the #7 prospect in baseball (I believe that was his mid-season rank, he became #4 afterwards) and Dylan Cease for Jose Quintana (and I love Quintana), then the Cubs were ahead of the curve on marijuana legalization in the state of Illinois.

Second team status. Which the A's have for a little while longer.

My wife's scouting report from Dash vs. Cyclones: "Why doesn't he just pitch better?" She pretty much doesn't care about sports outside of Alex Caruso + watching games with me, so you know he's bad.

wait we're counting McDougal as a bust now?

It's less that he's Christian and more He expressed the opinion that a child molester should be given a chance to earn millions in baseball, when said child molester's family was warning everyone to stay the hell away from him That again That again That again That again He imposes his religion on everyone else in the org His tenure with the Royals has two lucky seasons and that's it

The rookie manager fucking hates rookies
-
Who supposedly didn't even make the trade. After all, per her own words, she called up Kenny and got the deal done. The big takeaway: She got a good player from a dumpster fire front office.
-
It's like the people on this board that rage against Merkin for writing puff pieces on the Sox. Like, sure, go talk s%*# about your boss and see how long you stay employed.
-
I mean, what do you want the current manager and a player to say about a fellow org member and current acting GM? That he sucks ass?

I switched when Vinnie Duber left because he was the voice of reason on that podcast because he takes his reporter role seriously. They don't get the same level of guests on CHGO - but I can always listen to the NBCSN one when they have a guest. Otherwise, you have a clearly still bitter Ozzie, Chuck who has long since lost his shine, Guff who is OK, and Pods who is fun to listen to but is just a personality.
-
Also, building on this, Chuck emphatically declared that even he could build a major league roster — based on TWTW — because of his time spent in clubhouses as a reporter. Chuck is fun to listen to, but until this season he carried enough water to fill the Grand Canyon.

Giants.

When Ozzie said he was GM, you could tell he was joking in a "just kidding...but Jerry if you wanna talk...??" manner
-
The CHGO and White Sox Talk podcasts had two real different tones on this. White Sox Talk basically made everything sound like it was doomed from the start and everything was fool's gold. CHGO took a stance that the team clearly had talent and could have done something if not for organizational dysfunction, but Jerry opened the floodgates with TLR. I'm kinda taking CHGO because other White Sox Talk has just been full of s%*# the past few years, unless I'm just imagining Chuck's "WE JUST GOT EDWIN FREAKING ENCARNACION!" podcast.
