  1. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ May 16, 2010 -> 10:57 PM) Calipari has stated on Twitter that he is staying in Kentucky next season, but I wouldn't really hold him to that just yet. The more important thing is this: http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=381195 Apparently Lebron called Derrick Rose after losing to Boston in the 2nd round and had a long convo with him about the potential of playing together. Scoop Jackson confirmed this as well. This. Is. Awesome.
  2. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ May 16, 2010 -> 09:58 PM) and juan pierre (7 mil) is only earning 14 times more than andruw jones. (500k) Well, the Sox are only paying him $4M this year, so, 8 times.
  3. Rest in peace, Ronnie James Dio. One of the greatest voices in rock has gone.
  4. Van Gundy is spewing crap. Bulls get LeBron, they are the #1 in the East, and maybe the Magic contest them, depending on what they do this offseason.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 16, 2010 -> 11:23 AM) Keep in mind the naysayers were saying the same types ofthings about Jordan until the Bulls finally won. He was a great talent, didn't make the others better, a ballhog, etc. James is only a year older than Taj Gibson. If the Bulls get LeBron and they stay healthy, they will be in the finals every year for the foreseeable future. I was LMAO at the NY Post this morning. In one article they were saying LeBron doesn't need a good point guard that Chandler and Gallinari would be more attractive to LBJ. Then in another article were talking about the Knicks acquiring Tony Parker and giving him a huge extension. He can't hang with Rose on a basketball court. The NY Post thing makes me crack up. "We have Danilo Gallinari and Wilson Chandler. Paired with someone like Chris Bosh or Dwyane Wade, that is more attractive than the Bulls with their possibility of Rose/Hinrich/Deng/Gibson/Noah and possibly trading Deng and others for Bosh."
  6. I went with Gamestop, though I care far less about this content than the Show's stadiums.
  7. Listening to the radio and watching TV has me baffled that people think LeBron in Chicago doesn't make them a contender, but instead a 4th seed in the East. On the radio not long ago, I heard someone actually say: "Well, they still wouldn't be able to beat the Celtics in 7 games, if Atlanta keeps Joe Johnson they're better, and then theres the Magic." What?
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2010 -> 10:06 PM) Limewire doesn't have anything like that in money. All that means is Limewire will be bankrupted and shut down. The Vatican couldn't even pay that price tag though.
  9. QUOTE (maki @ May 15, 2010 -> 10:11 PM) and my mom got scared... she's says you're moving with your auntie and your uncle in BelAir! Come on man, at least get it right!
  10. Floyd should follow Peavy's example tomorrow.
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2010 -> 09:48 PM) There's no way that having the words "Thornton" and "Elbow" in the same posts repeatedly are a good thing. "Thornton's elbow is healthy and OK" would be nice about now.
  12. I know we were spoiled by Ventura-Crede defense, but my god you suck at D Teahen.
  13. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 15, 2010 -> 09:16 PM) Now put Vizquel in at 3B. What? I'd rather pinch hit him for Paulie.
  14. I really like Frank in the booth...I'd like the Sox to explore a 3-man booth with Frank-Stone-Hawk, kinda like how Hawk-DJ-Stone were supposed to be (on Sundays I want to say?)
  15. Guys, Chicago Cubs baseball is brought to you by Cadillac.
  16. Beckham has looked good at 2nd this year. Frank loves him some Gordon.
  17. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 15, 2010 -> 08:55 PM) And...frankly, some luck. Hey, with the way our luck has been this season, I'll take it.
  18. We scored five in a game?! Preposterous! Paulie, take a pitch.
  19. That looked pretty off the bat, straighten it out! My brain is experiencing joy. Andruw time.
  20. Wait, tied? Come on Gordon, slump buster right here.
