  1. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 15, 2010 -> 08:46 PM) God knows Castro's first hit will be right here. Heads22, are you God?
  2. http://gear.ign.com/articles/109/1090070p1.html That is a huge chunk of change going the RIAA's way. I'd be in favor of it if, you know, an artist saw a single cent of that. But when you see things like "For only $10 a month, you get unlimited songs!" you know not a single artist will get paid from that.
  3. Frank should move from the booth and DH. He can't do worse. Also, have Hawk catch. He'll distract batters with his stories.
  4. QUOTE (T R U @ May 15, 2010 -> 03:28 PM) lol no kidding Steve There were PLENTY of ways to get around traveling in GTA, fairly simple ones too.. Walking?
  5. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ May 15, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) I heard he like to plunge his penis inside of her vagina with much vigor and intensity. :lolhitting That was perfect.
  6. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 14, 2010 -> 11:56 PM) They are a matchup nightmare, speed and size for their positions. D Rose will created for LeBron and vice versa. They both play above the rim and can breakdown defenders at will. I dont understand how anyone can question their ability to play together. The Cavaliers are questioning it quite heavily. LeBron cannot succeed unless he has a PG as good as Mo Williams.
  7. Bill Simmons: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...mp;sportCat=nba http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/fp/flashPol...mp;pollId=90994 Man, public support is quickly going to Bulls.
  8. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ May 13, 2010 -> 04:46 PM) In conclusion, there are a thousand different ways to break in a glove and they all seem to work. You can't go wrong. 1) Fire 2) Lighter fluid 3) ???? 4) Profit! 5) Just kidding, anti-profit.
  9. QUOTE (DBAHO @ May 14, 2010 -> 12:44 AM) Cleveland basically went for Jamison over Amare because they thought that Jamison would be a much better matchup at the 4 spot against Rashard Lewis when they would meet in the conference finals. The problem was, they never made it there, and KG took advantage of Jamison's lousy defense. Now Cleveland's stuck with his contract for another 2 seasons. That was the huge flaw in the Cavs plan. They only planned for the Magic, and no one else.
  10. QUOTE (TitoMB @ May 13, 2010 -> 11:52 PM) This! This is why I LOVE the radio broadcast team. DJ and Farmio have such awkward dialogue sometimes, and I can never tell if it's serious. Whatever it is, the broadcasts always have me laughing, therefore, its a success. Oh, and they do a good job getting the game across too. But that's just my opinion. I love Farmio and DJ, but I love DJ when he was with Hawk too, because he fed of Hawks energy.
  11. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 14, 2010 -> 12:15 AM) Lebron+Amare=the next 4 or 5 championships. If I'm Lebron, that's the final straw for me. It was BHOTGDHNDS (Bulls Hold Onto Gordon-Deng-Hinrich-Noc-Duhon Syndrome). The difference is all 5 of those players were better (at the time) than Hickson (is now), and would have been traded for pieces to possibly contend, while the Cavs would have done just as you said. Now ESPN is interviewing Cavs fans. One says he's gonna stay due to unfinished business, while another's gut feeling is he will leave.
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 14, 2010 -> 12:10 AM) So it's really true? There's got to be more to it. I remember hearing this back in February but I refused to believe it was that simple. If so, Lebron is an idiot if he resigns. That was really it, and because they liked how Jamison could shoot threes.
  13. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ May 13, 2010 -> 02:19 PM) Hence my initial internet joke...which fell as flat as kate hudson playboy spread. *Ba-dap-cha!*
  14. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 13, 2010 -> 11:40 PM) lol, seriously Also: http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id...-3-gms-think-so It's kind of hard to process what that lineup would actually be able to accomplish if this were to happen... that's not just a contender, that would be comparable to the 80s Celtics, Magic's Lakers, and 90s Bulls. This would lock up the East for the Bulls until about 2017 and then when the players get older it might get competitive again. It'd be like playing the Eastern All-Stars. It wouldn't even be fair. They could match the Bulls single season record.
  15. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ May 13, 2010 -> 05:53 PM) Originally posted here: here. From looking at these statistics, it simply looks like we are a terrible hitting team. It makes you wonder about the approach of these hitters: Ozzie wanted a athletic, fast lineup and he got that exactly as we excel in stealing bases as a team, we are a decently patient team where it comes to walks, right in the middle of the bunch. Surprisingly for me we strikeout the least out of all baseball teams yet we can't get on base at a decent clip. One conclusion I come to is: terrible approach when it comes to hitting, I don't know who is to blame for this but maybe the 'fire Walker' threads have some basis here. With the White Sox it's constant 'swing for the fences' approach that's why we are up there with HR's but everything else is a pop up or a grounder to infielders. I mean look at the hitting stats other than HRs, absolutely brutal. The hitting philosophy of this team needs a change so we can start scoring runs and winning games. Discuss. Translation: Crappy luck + No Power = GRINDY
  16. QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 13, 2010 -> 01:32 PM) 3D Dot Game Heroes is getting some glowing reviews, very good to see. Got it today, and for the $40 price tag, its wonderful. For fans of Kingdom Hearts: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4523596/1/King..._Honest_Version
  17. James having his conference now. He looks disappointed (in both himself and the team) and drained.
  18. Wilbon slamming Cleveland right now, saying "EVEN THE CLIPPERS would be better for a title pursuit. This blow will be the most franchise crippling ever since the Bulls Dismantling. Also, for the crazy trade scenario if you can't get a sniper like Allen. Deng for Ben Gordon. I miss Ben .
  19. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 13, 2010 -> 08:00 PM) Sort of. The one justification given for 3B was his arm strength, and reports he was timed at 89-92 MPH by various guns at tryouts. 1B, because of his height and being RH'ed, maybe not a natural fit either. I'm thinking LF. As long as we don't have Teahen, Viciedo, Josh Fields and Alex Gordon all trying to defend positions, our future D should be okay. Well, actually Gordon would be fine with me as a "speculative" replacement for Konerko at 1B. Definitely, I'd take him in a heartbeat over Teahen at 3B. Speaking of Royals/Sox trades, whatever happened to Tyler Lumsden and Daniel Cortes, those guys didn't work out so well, did they? It seems Cortes was a Top 40-60 prospect not so long ago, and now you never hear about him. Sergio #2 if the hitting doesn't pan out
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ May 13, 2010 -> 07:58 PM) Short 2-3, .409. He has 65 hits in 34 games. Thats just not fair to pitchers.
  21. QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 13, 2010 -> 10:38 PM) Everybody I know in CHICAGO wants LeBron. Chris Broussard live on ESPN now hyping the LeBron to Bulls talk, praising our team and putting up ideas for a S&T to get Deng out of here. I just saw this. I'd die from joy to get Luol out of town, especially for another big piece. Quick question: Lets say theres a sign-and-trade for Bosh for Taj & Kirk, does his lack of D, losing Taj & Kirk's D, taking up remaining cap for bench pieces (a sniper?) get balanced out by his scoring? Plus, that would move LeBron to SG, but that doesn't matter.
