  1. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 28, 2010 -> 08:37 PM) Hell of a play by Longoria. DAGUMIT. I miss the days of Crede making anything that went by him an out. Why couldn't he be left handed and healthy?
  2. QUOTE (Rex Kicka** @ May 25, 2010 -> 09:55 AM) Yes. Because of bigotry. We were discussing homosexuality in English yesterday, and someone brought up the whole "God made Adam and Eve, not two Adams" argument. Know what else isn't in the Bible? Cell phones...or cars...or you know, a lot of crap we have. It is extremely idiotic though, that people even consider keeping it in place.
  3. QUOTE (zenryan @ May 28, 2010 -> 04:09 AM) Actually that quote is pretty funny and almost redeems himself from this situation. If anything, it makes me think he tossed Buehrle to prove his point about long games.
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 27, 2010 -> 09:05 PM) I care, but it's kind of like pissing into the wind. Piss harder than.
  5. QUOTE (WHarris1 @ May 28, 2010 -> 02:50 AM) Honestly the Bulls are one of THE most loyal organizations in the NBA in terms of organizational involvement from former players. The Jay Williams example is also a very good one, and Jay had a few quotes today saying how wrong Wade is. What a pathetic effort by Wade, who is obviously staying in Miami, to try and deter free agents from signing in Chicago. If there's one thing I love about Reinsdorf, it's he is a loyal guy. Sometimes to a fault, but at least he is loyal. Williams: Bob Love: Didn't Frank lose a lot of money at one point gambling, and JR bailed him out?
  6. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ May 27, 2010 -> 03:50 PM) The other day I had two of those sneaky bastards attack my horse and they got me on the ground and I quickly got into deadeye and blew their heads off. Those cougars are little b****es. A guy was about to attack me, and the cougar appeared out of nowhere and killed him.
  7. I'm beginning to like the prospect of challenges like in football for baseball.
  8. It's time for Floyd Gavin to turn it around and build off that last start. Let's see that curve #34.
  9. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 27, 2010 -> 12:21 AM) I've run out of adjectives to describe Ubaldo Jimenez. 8 more shutout innings against arguably the best offense in the NL (not saying much, but Arizona is legit). You know you've been good when we're nearly two months in and you're the clear front-runner for the CY in a league that sports Halladay and Lincecum. Especially in Colorado.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ May 26, 2010 -> 11:33 PM) S. Strasburg to make his debut against the Pirates on the Nationals next home stand. 'bout time. Now, we can start speculating Chapman's debut.
  11. QUOTE (Real @ May 26, 2010 -> 11:38 PM) some of you may find this as positive news, others unrealistic, but just posting it in 2009, after 46 games we were 21-25 (we're 20-26 right now) for us to win 90 games in 2010, we will have to play .603 ball the rest of the way and go (20-26 > 70-46 = 90-72) Lets do it (Gordon, that means start hitting. I mean hell, once that happens, the lineup suddenly seems cured of its cold sadness)
  12. Posted this in the Santos Article Thread: Anyone ever order a t-shirt from whitesox.com? I've heard they aren't like the ball park ones...that they lack the silver trim. Can anyone confirm if they have the trim or not? If they have it, I'm ordering my Santos shirt ASAP.
  13. Jak series has taken over Red Deads playing time...good thing summer is around the bend. Also, John Hillcoat made a short film using Red Dead, and it will premiere on Fox May 29th. So recording that. http://www.aeropause.com/2010/04/fox-to-sh...cial-on-may-29/
  14. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 26, 2010 -> 01:27 PM) That's really cool. It's nice that this organization is still trying to keep him involved while he recovers. I agree, it's really cool. Maybe he'll bring luck with him.
  15. @ Wiki Seriously though, I can never stand Joe West behind the plate, since he called the triple play against the Cubs a few years ago an interference. To sum it up; Mariotti just defended Ozzie on ATH. Paulie, AJ, and Coop all appealed it even, and those guys rarely argue with umps. And the smug look West had on his face...Hawk's right, he deserves a suspension.
  16. QUOTE (Brian @ May 24, 2010 -> 06:20 PM) Steve Phillips was on WFAN in NY and said he would trade Stephen Strasburg for Roy Oswalt in a second. Um..... Are Berkman, Pence, and half of Oswalt's and Berkman's salaries getting paid as well? Silly Steve Phillips.
  17. Goddamn Pierre ain't got much, but he's fast. Come on Rios.
  18. No way those glitches aren't intentional. Also, just bought Jak & Daxter, Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X for $15. Oh the memories.
  19. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ May 25, 2010 -> 06:36 PM) Ed Farmer says that the Bulls aren't bringing Phil back. Heh. That made me laugh when I heard it.
  20. QUOTE (qwerty @ May 25, 2010 -> 05:15 PM) Super mario bros came out in march of 1986 in the states. It was not until october of 1988 that super mario bros 2 came out in here. Super mario bros: the lost levels was technically the direct sequel (came out in june of 1986 in japan), but it was deemed too difficult to market. Hence super mario bros 2. It really is a shame they no longer challenge people when it comes to video games. It's pathetic how easy modern games are... and i cannot stress that enough. I hate even thinking about it. f***. Demons Soul's is evil. Yet oh so fun.
  21. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 25, 2010 -> 05:03 PM) Rivera will make it because he's by far and away the greatest relief pitcher to ever live. Lee Smith! (Smith should probably be in the HoF, but I stand 50/50 on that.
