  1. Imagining the soon to be broken up team with a different player development department makes me sad.
  2. It's sad that you don't care about yourself.
  3. Giolito getting a divorce, a deeply personal matter that we shouldn't speculate on. Some people: "How does this reflect the White Sox organization?"
  4. So why get upset about Luis Robert doing OK (definitely not "pathetic") in the home run derby? If it brings you that much misery, man, you need to look elsewhere.
  5. Do you find joy in anything?
  6. Sierra, please give this man something to hit.
  7. I am both sad for Giolito and amazed at how many things encapsulate this season.
  8. Dear lord why did I look at Zach Franklin's stat sheet.
  9. I already know that I'm going to love Jake Peppers based on his 80-grade name, which means he's going to flame out like Storm Throne (to be fair, that was a 100-grade name) did and Duke Ellis seems to be.
  10. My take as a filthy casual: A lefty that threw 103 innings, struckout 103 batters and walked 34 isn't the worst punt pick in the world.
  11. For everyone else, this is referring to Wolkow, not Park.
  12. Sox really drafting for need with all of this left-handedness.
  13. Me: Sox will probably pick a nobody MLB feed: first prospect to have video in forever Me: Real s%*#?
  14. Didn't even think of how the NIL changes things. Good point.
  15. Also f***, I forgot how fast Day 2 and 3 go.
  16. Mike Shirley, why you bumming me out?
  17. When everything's a need, you can say any pick is the Sox drafting for need.
  18. Man, some writers really like the Gonzalez pick. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/37985650/2023-mlb-draft-day-1-winners-losers-top-prospects-available https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10081968-2023-mlb-draft-picks-live-team-by-team-day-1-grades-and-analysis https://www.sportingnews.com/us/mlb/news/mlb-draft-grades-2023-live-picks-results/a6nkkz2hshjegc3hg23rkefb

    7/8 Games

When my dad was bemoaning the future of the Sox (fair), I said at least Schultz and Montgomery were bright spots. He said "so what, Schultz is 19, who cares what his stats are." Man, a 19-year-old carving up affiliate ball like that is something to be really, really excited about.
  20. It'd most likely be Gonzalez moving. Colson's gonna get here first + faster. It's a good problem to have Colson, Ramos, Gonzalez, Popeye, Sosa, and Burrowes (except Ramos, but he's got 3rd) all up the middle as prospects. You take that all day over doubling down on loading up at 1st base and corner OF.
