Co-signing this. I definitely scrolled to the bottom, then read up.

1) Lance Lynn has the body type of a first baseman. 2) The Sox love playing people out of position. 3) ??? 4) Profit!

Happy for him.

Leury's spot on the roster looms so large now. -
Nothing will ever top my mom suggesting to me that Gavin Sheets could cover CF in a pinch. The Sox conditioned her.

Well, Colas played way more CF than RF last year and got good reviews so idk man.

Mike Clevinger under investigation for domestic violence

That is hardly anything new. If anything, it might be lesser just because of the massive social media spotlight. -

Why do I now have a feeling that Fernando Tatis Jr. is going to run into him with his scooter? -

A hilariously bad product. Whether you like it or not, these guys provide a service that is in high demand and they're the best in the world at. Also, the uneducated dig is weak. These guys chose their career path because it presented itself. The Latino farm players are getting taking additional classes with the White Sox and learning a second language. There are four year college players in the system who might never make the show, playing for below minimum wage (personally a big Duke Ellis fan here). Yes, there are idiots playing baseball. But I also know idiots with advanced degrees. Both pull good money - obviously to different degrees - and plenty more than I'll ever see. But it's foolish to paint entire professions with a wide brush. -

Take this list and cross reference it with the Bally RSN teams for a list of players Hahn will target. -
Nice that he's getting work in before the WBC.

Trying to keep track of everything: Are they able to do that without the MLBPA's sign-off? -

Usually, those are somewhat funny / make a modicum of sense. -
Can we all agree that this sparks joy?

As we all know, Rick Hahn negotiates TV contracts. -
I think Drummond was the worst. He's definitely not coming back with how Billy has used him + there were definitely teams that would have taken him.

I love that the Bulls are staring down the barrel of needing to tank again and need lotto luck to retain their pick. Of course that means Wembenyamba, Scoot, or another wing/guard up top. But let's say they get lucky. They'll need to clear out playing time. That means, depending on who they luck into, getting rid of Vuc, Drummond, Coby, Caruso or maybe even DeMar. If it's any of the first three, they get nothing back. Holding at the deadline for prayers at getting bounced during the play-in is such s%*# asset management.

Boy the decision to stand pat keeps looking worse and worse.

While it wasn't his spouse, Antonio Brown had a mountain of accusations by the time the Patriots and Bucs signed him. -

Yeah, this is a bit ridiculous. Police departments can take months to send FOIAs back. -

For what it's worth, I imagine having this particular presser at SoxFest would not have been great. -

The optimist in me is thinking that they want to leave him out to dry. The realist in me acknowledges that that is almost certainly not the case.
