Sox may have trade interest in Rays 2B/OF Brandon Lowe
Quin replied to knightni's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I see we're going back to the mid-to-late 2000s White Sox philosophy of "trade all the top prospects for silly reasons" here. -
You're correct! His history of dumbassery also includes breaking his hand punching the mound over a Jake Lamb home run. Clevinger idk, but Plesac is definitely a top tier dumbass.

So, my wife is a Star Wars fan, but definitely wouldn't call herself one. She doesn't like any of the movies except for Episode 3 and Rogue One. She does like the TV shows (except for Boba Fett), because that's where she began Star Wars (specifically, Mandalorian Season 1). She absolutely fucking loved both of these moments. They did so much to sell the universe that Star Wars lives in.

I will gladly take Aaron Judge through age 36 and suffer after that. Especially because baseball is trying to figure s%*# out, so I wouldn't be shocked if the juiced ball returns.
-
It would certainly insulate against losing Jose Abreu.

-
And why pundits are always like "can you believe [insert org here] was able to grab two first round quality picks!?" Yes, because they essentially have two first rounders.
-
-
Well the ending of this game is incredibly frustrating.
-
Ok, while not likely, it is Bruce Levine, so I'd say it's slightly more than zero. *takes another hit of copium*

Lefty outfielder from Mizzou? You know @Lillian and I are on board. Looks like he's got got some pop, speed and .OBP skills - the only shitty part is a high strikeout rate.
-
I immensely dislike this.
-
Lauri finally balling and Max Strus being a Heat contributor are just killing me.
-
Because he asked if we had to pick between Benintendi or Conforto. So we picked? And Gallo's main spot is pretty much "all of them."
-
So did Gallo in 2020 and 2021, where he was primarily a right fielder. I didn't even think of the shift, which Bob pointed out.
-
@Bob Sacamano, I see your laugh react, but it's clear that Jim Bowden read my Cocaine Elmo post. It's happening.
-
Jim Bowden, who we all know is 100% nails when it comes to forecasting things: Top Free Agents 1. Aaron Judge Best fits: Yankees, Dodgers, Giants, Mets, White Sox Contract prediction: 8 years, $330 million 7. Carlos Rodon Best fits: Giants, Cardinals, Braves, Mets, Orioles, Yankees, Red Sox, Angels, Blue Jays Contract prediction: 5 years, $144 million 16. Brandon Nimmo Best fits: Mets, Blue Jays, Yankees, Padres, Rangers, Royals, Tigers Contract prediction: 5 years, $100 million 18. Jose Abreu Best fits: Padres, Cubs, Rays, Rangers, White Sox Contract prediction: 2 years, $34 million 21. Michael Conforto Best fits: Mets, Marlins, White Sox, Rays, Red Sox, Blue Jays, Padres, Braves Contract prediction: 2 years, $34 million with an opt out after Year 1

The funny thing is you know someone out there is upset about this.

I vote we talk about Charlotte's new jerseys instead: -
Pedro Grifol named White Sox manager; Katz asked to return per Rosey

This is A+ teamwork and communication. -
Conforto. If we're adding to the outfield, we need a guy that can go to right field.

There might be a meme template in here. -
Pat looking more aggressive lately has been a welcome surprise. I was genuinely shocked when I saw this last night:

I will miss Cairo's A+ penmanship for those lineups.
