  1. Grandal: 30/34 games I don't feel like going back and counting the days that Pollock and Harrison missed, but I know it was a significant chunk. Pollock: 20/34 Harrison: 23/34 Once you start counting eligible games, we've seen a lot of Big Energy. Considering how much we didn't see Vaughn early in the season and now (i.e., eligible games), yes, I will be annoyed about this.
  2. So, to be clear. Vaughn, Robert, Anderson, and Moncada all need rest frequently or something. Abreu, Grandal, Harrison, Pollock, and Garica need to play every game. The first group is young, contains probably your best four hitters at the moment and, in Robert and Vaughn's case, developing still. The second group is old, kinda sucks at the moment, and has dudes with injury concerns.
  3. 18th pick in his round vs. 4th pick in his round Davis >>> Singer
  4. @Chisoxfn, I would like to retroactively apologize for the setup of this post.
  5. The year is 2022. TLR is ready to manage like it's 2006.
  6. Man, I'm pretty sure we could just fire up MLB The Show and it would do the trick.
  7. I thought you were bullshitting with this. Amazing.
  8. Obviously Luka is ungodly talented, but the Chicago teams need Luka's mentality.
  9. If that were the case, #2 would likely be the cause of #1, but I'm not gonna get sucked into a Parkman doom spiral about why this team was actually doomed from the start because Eloy Jimenez once struck out 3 times in a game in 2019.
  10. Menechino: Preaches patience, OBP, generally was seen to have a good philosophy for the modern game until this year. Produced results. TLR: Offensive philosophy relied on steroids or having Albert Pujols.
  11. What's more likely: Everyone in baseball assessed the White Sox wrong TLR is blowing it as manager
  12. Much like the standings, we should aim higher than the Royals.
  13. Don't mind me in the corner, trying to manifest Yolbert and Perez' batting eyes into the left column instead of those first two names.
  14. 1) Bad 2) Thoughts on trying to get involved in a Ayton S&T?
  15. Like, when were you going to trade him? Last year? Because otherwise, he had no real value. This is like my mom randomly texting me yesterday that the Sox should trade Engel and Mendick (for Montas) to make room for Burger and Sheets.
  16. Brilliant defense of La Russa. They're 28th out of 30 in runs scored with a lineup that most people looked at as a preseason strength. His whole schtick was getting the team ready for games and he sucks at it. Well, that and bullpen management, and he's atrocious at that.
  17. TLR should have his plaque revoked for this atrocious encore that he forced upon us.
  18. Unless every single scouting report on Perez is wrong and he's actually awful defensively, I'm getting hard pressed to see a reason to keep McGuire around over him. Especially because Perez has reverse splits.
  19. Whenever another team develops a former Sock, I imagine the drafting department just glaring at the development staff. Semien is the most egregious, but Gonzalez can get added to the pile.
  20. You could get through the movie without WandaVision, but you'd have to just roll with a lot of plot from Wanda's side that gets explained with quick dialogue intended for viewers who didn't see WandaVision. For context, before covid, MoM was supposed to air the week immediately following WandaVision. My advice is to try and binge it, read a plot summary, or watch the Marvel Legends episode on Disney Plus about Scarlet Witch (which will have WandaVision spoilers).
  21. Man, we all wanted that Nightengale "Sox looking at players like Ray and Semien" tweet to come true. The server that hosts SoxTalk would have gained sentience and jumped off a cliff with how those two are performing.
