Man helped push Minnie into the Hall and said his job was done.
  2. I think the best solution is that the Bears draft Marvin Harrison as a QB, move Fields to RB and draft one of the LTs as a WR. But here's what Biggs said: So...I guess it's more Caleb vs. Maye vs. Daniels. I just honestly feel sad for Fields after hearing snippets from the St. Brown podcast. Yeah, it's a business, but he's handled it all with grace.

The fact that Pedro can't even make a proper backcronym makes me hate him even more.
  4. The fluff pieces have begun! Thus, Diamond Club's doors are open cc @chitownsportsfan
  5. Winter doesn't legally end until March 19th, 2024 at 10:06 P.M. CT. But also, go wild
  6. Tray's answer: Andrew Vaughn, trains, soil
  7. A football stadium takes up a lot more room than a baseball stadium. So, that would hamper the plans for developing the rest of the parcel / kills the "create a neighborhood" pitch
  8. I think anyone posting here regularly has more than earned their stripes as a Sox fan. Most, if not all, of us were around for the rebuild. We've seen them be s%*#. The Sox aren't the A's, but the way they've abused this fanbase's trust is so egregious that if anyone wants to mentally check out until it's shown that Chris Getz can prove that he's more than a nepo hire, Pedro can manage a .500 ball club, TLR gets out of the way, and Jerry wants to actually invest — well, to find any fault in that would be asinine at best and disingenuous at worst.
  9. The White Sox are Bryan Shaw's booty call and this is amusing to me.
  10. Balta, Ray Ray and SS2k5 are agreeing on the merits of a stadium development project. That alone should be JR's sales pitch.
  11. Who knew the consequences of firing Ricky Renteria would be so severe
  12. Days later, this is still incredibly hilarious.
  13. Wanting a new manager after the 2020 playoffs has become the ultimate monkeys paw.
  14. Yet, somehow, I'm not exactly pleased with this development.
  15. At least you could make a game out of Rick Hahn's word salad. This is just fucking stupid. Getz: "I don't think we can find space for you in camp, we're rebuilding, need to find time for playing young guys and have enough mentors." Moustaksas' agent: "But he really wants to prove that he's still good at baseball." Getz: "I do remember Moose being good at baseball when we were together in KC a decade ago. Well, if you say so!" Jeremy Haber's computer, barely hanging onto life in the background, with Fangraphs open: "D̴̪͌ọ̶͘n̷͇̈'̴̼̀t̵̞̋ ̶͔͊d̸̝̀o̴̟̔ ̵̯͘i̸̱͒t̴͂͜!̴̘͒"
  16. Trick question. Tony gets a discount on his AARP membership if gets more people to sign up.
  17. Grifol is all about not holding vets accountable, but going in on young guys. Poor Colson/Ramos/Fletcher/Colas/Sosa/Popeye are basically going to have massive targets on their backs in the clubhouse if the team fails.
  18. Whit Merrifield is seeing the band get back together and wondering what he did wrong.
  19. And I try to be an eternal optimist. But after JR and Getz have been going on about doing things the "right way," Maldonado is just sign that — unless he's going to the Bonds School of Career Resurgence — we're going to continue to commit money (that cumulatively adds up) to s%*# players that they'll continue to sell us as difference makers for one reason or another.
