  1. Nah, this is all still Moncada/Eloy/Colas' fault for not being part of the Clubhouse Culture ™️ that Chris Getz fixed. Cause Garfein has the gall to put out a podcast titled "how Chris Getz fixed the clubhouse" on March 22nd.
  2. See, here's where I am. Prior to part way through last year, I was the eternal optimist. Once KW and Hahn were fired I figured things might turn around, because JR only makes moves when embarrassed. Then this fucker and then the water cooler jug replacement gang have been trying to gaslight us all off-season into believing that Getz isn't a screw up that yes-manned his way into a job and is actually a wunderkind assembling a beautiful roster. That this rebuild will be different. Instead, this rebuild has the vision built on... David Eckstein and the early 2010s Royals. After hearing about how bad Yaz was and how awful he was for culture, I guess, Martin Maldonado being demonstrably worse is hilarious. If they're gonna be bad, I'm gonna have fun watching Chris Getz and Pedro Grifol ensure that they never touch another MLB franchise again.
  3. Yup! I'll add Slow Horses to our watch list. God, I almost want him as interim so his career can end with a Chris Getz-assembled roster and a storm of boos.
  4. Watched one inning, then watched The Afterparty with my wife. Highly recommend.
  5. So when @WestEddysaid a 3 WAR player, was one of those wins for opposing teams?
  6. Instead of SoxMath or Kamka giving fun stats, we get "Remember having an offense?"
  7. Martin Maldonado is going to strikeout in solidarity.
  8. Not home, but the fact the MLB app just recommended an Aaron Judge highlight in My Highlights section, which is only White Sox content. It figured I needed something fun to watch.
  9. I see that Getz is an avid Wu-Tang fan
  10. Yeah disagree with James all you want. Implying he's paid is ridiculous.
  11. Technically you have to get outs to get an 11.57 ERA
  12. Shaw (or any of the old dudes in the pen) and Sheets (because we already have four outfielders, so either Sheets serves no role or there is no point to call up Grossman). Getz is making moves that a GM makes in MLB: The Show because he recognizes names.
  13. But how else will the Sox pay for Kevin Pillar or Martin Maldonado, two very necessary players for a rebuilding team?
  14. I only brought up Clevinger since they DFA'd Rodriguez to sign him. I guess he'd have been next for Grossman, although who knows with this FO.
  15. The league also repeatedly told everyone that Clevinger is worth nothing
  16. I mean, this is a clubhouse culture that has been built on the broad shoulders of Pedro, who comes from the Kansas City culture that loved to fight everyone.
  17. That's assuming a regular GM is doing the negotiating. Getz is gonna want your best David Eckstein impersonator.
  18. Mena: 5 IP, 0 ER, 5 H, 3 BB, 2K. No runs allowed in two starts Fletcher: 2 hits so far.
  19. A reminder that he leapt at the chance to sign Paul DeJong.
  20. The learning would consist of "holy f***, fire everyone. Especially Chris Getz."
  21. Sat watching this out, saw Robert got hurt. Maybe a GM brought from outside the organization would have identified the training staff as a problem?
  22. Yeah @zisk that seems a bit extreme
  23. Chris Getz's rebuild philosophy: Get older, get bolder
