QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 16, 2013 -> 08:08 PM) I'm sure Steve knew what he was getting himself into, and like they said at RealGM....not much to lose Except Balta will murder him.

"They're far outside the sphere of people who have actual access to Rose and the Bulls, so they're probably just fishing for web hits. There is no credibility to this until the story is sourced and reported by a reputable party, rather than one reporting hunches as facts, with nothing to lose if (when) they're wrong." RealGM does not like Steve. "Even more than that, is anybody prepared to trust that Steven H. Eric has scooped all other reporters? His other posts have included fantasy basketball, fantasy football, TV shows, video games, and something called "Lebron James heroin." http://flapship.com/author/stevenheric/ Obviously Derrick really could return against Denver, and I sure hope that he does, but my guess in this case is that Steven H. Eric has misread the online buzz and taken it for fact. Then he reports it back to people who are reading the same buzz that he is." Oh snap, full name. I trust Steve on this though.

Curse you Steve...I want to go back to sleep but I can't now.

But for real, Steve, source? I believe you, I just need to know you didn't take McGraw's tweet and run

Lmao. Over at RealGM BullsFan88 wrote: Confirmed: Derrick Rose will return on Monday http://flapship.com/derrick-rose-to-ret ... t-nuggets/ Speculation and anticipation have reached an all-time high, and it seems that the Chicago Bulls are about to get a big boost from one of the hardest working players in the NBA. A source close to the situation has confirmed that Derrick Rose will finally make his long-awaited return to the Chicago Bulls on Monday night against the Denver Nuggets. Rose, who has been out of the lineup since tearing his left ACL in the first game of the 2012 playoffs on April 28th, has been rehabbing hard and is finally ready to return. I've never heard of the website. Anyone care to comment on reputability? Is that even a word?

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Mar 15, 2013 -> 10:11 PM) So basically, who do you want to keep, besides Konerko? Chris Sale? Why not trade him too, as he just signed an extremely team-friendly contract, before he gets injured? By the time that the team has been rebuilt to your liking, Sale will probably be injured or his salary will be too high for your tastes. Is there ANYONE IN THE ENTIRE ORGANIZATION you actually like and want to keep around for 2014 and 2015? Who are you going to build around? Oh, that's right, the solution was to go out and pay huge money to Josh Hamilton and Greinke. Okay. And, since every scout in baseball agrees with your assessment that Viciedo won't make any continued progress at all as a hitter or fielder, we can't trade him for BJ Upton, either. Uh oh. Caulfield mad.

Mike McGraw @McGrawDHBulls Bulls announced today that Mon's game vs. DEN is moving from CSN-plus to the main station. I'm sure fans can imagine a possible reason why.

No shockers. Hopefully they all do nicely in Charlotte.

Didn't KW diss him once?

Fangraphs: What's required for a Paul Konerko infield hit?

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 14, 2013 -> 11:16 PM) Except for Giancarlo Stanton, his power is infinite. -
Bosh being down was the reason I figured they could be beaten. Let LeBron get his, but no big on that roster would be able to score without Bosh. Heat would have been destroyed on the glass. But that's in the past now.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 14, 2013 -> 05:01 PM) Quin, Awesome, always glad to have more people writing. I just want to make sure people are enjoying themselves, its supposed to be fun. Oh, I just got bogged down with school work last time around. QUOTE (Jake @ Mar 14, 2013 -> 05:48 PM) I need to get moving again -- I just have to make sure it is fun, like you said. In other news, where's Greg? I asked this a week ago or so. GREG WHERE ARE YOU?

Stephen Jackson signs with ATL.

I really like the new layout. Also, hopefully I start writing again, as I did enjoy writing for it in the past.

QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Mar 14, 2013 -> 08:22 AM) Kingdom hearts 1.5 HD remix will come to north america in the fall. This will stop all my life activities then. Kingdom Hearts 3 will come to North America in 10 years.

QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Mar 12, 2013 -> 05:11 PM) Wasting his power? Baseball players have a finite amount of power throughout the year before they can recharge in the winter via hibernation. -
Did someone just seriously show surprise toward and call out Steve being articulately vulgar?
-
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 13, 2013 -> 07:32 PM) Which makes the '11 conference finals loss all the more painful. That was the year to get Miami. Now that they've figured it out, it's ova. I honestly believe last year was the year to beat them in the ECF.
-
I like what Emery has done with the team so far. He's wasted no time in addressing WR and OL, which is refreshing.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 12, 2013 -> 09:55 AM) Eh, MLB the Show has dedicated followers on OS Sports that crank out amazing rosters for previous versions. 2013 full minors rosters for MLB 12 the Show will be ready Opening Day Really, with the Marlins new park in last year's game, there's no reason to upgrade vs downloading those rosters above. It's just up to the user to not be stupid. This. You can get a few years out of sports games thanks to the online communities.

QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Mar 13, 2013 -> 12:04 AM) Dumb question, maybe, but what happened to Aaron Poreda? Why didn't he become anything? He started sucking after he got traded.
-
This is the second time I've wanted Boldin and he's been traded cheaply. I'm gonna guess it wouldn't have worked cap wise? A WR core of Marshall - Boldin - Jeffery - Bennett would have been sweet.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 11, 2013 -> 11:11 AM) Phil Rogers @ChiTribRogers Yankees trying to coax Derrek Lee back. Man, what a mess in Tampa.
