They can offer plenty. Do something around any of Gilbert, Baty, Houck, Jett, Mauricio, Acuna, etc. I'd love to buy low on Baty.

According to SSHM, it is a Mickey Mouse ring (which doesn't even make sense as terminology since it wasn't played in the bubble like the NBA)

Oh no, Dodgers fans have merely had to endure meaningful baseball every single year. How they suffer. And we've argued your point about 2020's legitimacy repeatedly. Every team had a level playing field. It's legitimate. Otherwise, you can start playing all sorts of dumb games like Aaron Judge's AL home run record isn't legit (not in 155 games!), the 2005 World Series isn't legit (had a steroid user), etc.

This is it y'all

I somehow have to keep reiterating this point: Friedman's big FA before Freeman was A.J. Pollock. He made big trades and signed extensions, but he didn't sign big ticket free agents. He kept his powder dry for this offseason. This s%*# was calculated, unlike the Padres/Mets spending.

Oh, I get it. It's just fun looking at the fallout from every angle because it basically all boils down to "boy Getsy sucks."

This is why the whole thing gets fun, because then you have tweets like this:

But at that point, Poles has unlocked the infinite money glitch

I have many Mets fans that will talk to us about how miserable we all are and how if they trade for Cease he will suck and the prospects will suck

Will DJ's smile save Justin Fields?

Gordon was a bad contract Cain's extension was fine, I guess. But it was just buying out his last arbitration years and then he immediately left. Moustakas' contact was bad, but I guess they traded it away Danny Duffy immediately declined. Salvador Perez became an albatross. Oh joy. We got a dude who knows how to overpay vets on his team that are about to decline.

You somehow grasped my point while letting it soar over your head. Dipping a little bit into the Royals well, sure. Maybe Getz knew some really talented guys there. But that's the predominant well that he keeps dipping into. Eventually, because they're taking so many people from that organization, including Getz himself, you'll build a Royals culture with a White Sox reskin.

Amazing

Honestly, beg Harbaugh to be the coach. If he thinks the haul for #1 is worth it instead of Caleb or Maye, go for it. Maybe it gets you MHJ and one of the tackles. But draft a QB in the third or second. It was just amazing seeing so many Packers wide receivers open in the midfield vs. the Bears. And of course the O-Line getting obliterated. But if a new coach thinks that situation isn't tenable, you have to move on. Just pray for Caleb/Maye's life.

Dear lord. Here's the thing, this dude spent 24 years with the Royals. Getz has only worked for the Sox and Royals. Barfield and Bannister bring experience from different orgs, which is good. I've worked for three different companies in my industry. At each successive job, I've implemented workflow and skills from the previous jobs that have improved the subsequent workplace. If you're keep hiring from the Royals, the Sox will just become the Sox culture mixed with the culture of another deadbeat organization.

Sweet Jesus, I feel bad for Caleb Williams if he's playing behind this line
-
I wonder if Getz's replacement will hire from the Pirates and Rockies.
-
So you're saying draft a center #1 overall

You know it's serious when a single game gets its own trailer

I know LaVine always shows up against the Hornets, but the fast break post move to score was absolutely disgusting. That was a fun win.

But can the LHP perform on a cold, rainy night in Norfolk?

Elijah was at least more exciting than Enoy Jimenez.

Talking about Mets prospects for like, two pages, was fun

To quote Harold, Yamamoto has more red flags than Soviet Moscow, has never pitched in major league baseball, and got $300M.
