  1. Honestly, beg Harbaugh to be the coach. If he thinks the haul for #1 is worth it instead of Caleb or Maye, go for it. Maybe it gets you MHJ and one of the tackles. But draft a QB in the third or second. It was just amazing seeing so many Packers wide receivers open in the midfield vs. the Bears. And of course the O-Line getting obliterated. But if a new coach thinks that situation isn't tenable, you have to move on. Just pray for Caleb/Maye's life.
  2. Dear lord. Here's the thing, this dude spent 24 years with the Royals. Getz has only worked for the Sox and Royals. Barfield and Bannister bring experience from different orgs, which is good. I've worked for three different companies in my industry. At each successive job, I've implemented workflow and skills from the previous jobs that have improved the subsequent workplace. If you're keep hiring from the Royals, the Sox will just become the Sox culture mixed with the culture of another deadbeat organization.
  3. Sweet Jesus, I feel bad for Caleb Williams if he's playing behind this line
  4. I wonder if Getz's replacement will hire from the Pirates and Rockies.
  5. You know it's serious when a single game gets its own trailer
  6. I know LaVine always shows up against the Hornets, but the fast break post move to score was absolutely disgusting. That was a fun win.
  7. But can the LHP perform on a cold, rainy night in Norfolk?
  8. Elijah was at least more exciting than Enoy Jimenez.
  9. Talking about Mets prospects for like, two pages, was fun
  10. To quote Harold, Yamamoto has more red flags than Soviet Moscow, has never pitched in major league baseball, and got $300M.
  11. Hell, Benintendi is an All-Star with a Gold Glove, Eloy was a rookie silver slugger, and Moncada looked great in his sophomore season. But then we removed Leury from the lineup.
  12. To hammer this home, last year's lineup, for context, peak Pipeline rankings: TA (#47) Benintendi (#1) Robert (#7) Eloy (#3) Moncada (#1) Vaughn (#14) Frazier (#24) - I picked him for the lols because he was hyped to heaven and back Elvis (#18 - BA, Pipeline didn't exist) Grandal (#68)
  13. The #1 mistake is trusting @Chicago White Sox. He made rage quitting to Nashville cool before Jerry. (CWS is also a great dude)
  14. Yes, this is what we said about Andrew Vaughn.
  15. Option 3: Trade Fields and the #1 pick and start Bagnet. You know some crazy fan has called into The Score with that
  16. I do feel the need to point out that amidst all these discussions, the White Sox have five former top 10 prospects, including two #1s, in their starting lineup next year. Can't miss prospect means nothing to us.
  17. If this were the Machado thread and we still had fun with the titles, the current title would be: Cease Rumor Thread: Mets Enter Talks, Hold the Mayo, Enter for Real Estate Advice
  18. Truly, this video has never been more relevant, specifically at 30 seconds. (To our Orioles friends, Baltimore is cool, this video is just an internet classic)
  19. In a deal with the Mets, how do we feel about getting Baty while his stock is down? Obviously not a headliner, but, a thought.
  20. Correct. We haven't been developing left handed pitchers or hitters in forever. Moncada is basically the one bat, Bummer the one arm. Colas had a disastrous rookie year, but it was basically him and Montgomery for a while to get excited about.
