  1. QUOTE (Princess Dye @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 03:12 PM) Trayce Thompson's brother Mychel waived by the Cavs Bulls should sign him and have Reinsdorf threaten to cut him whenever Trayce's K rate is over 20%
  2. QUOTE (mumbles3k @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 03:31 PM) I'm trying to figure out how to embed YouTube videos. Can someone help? When posting, scroll down and you'll see "Post Options", with HTML Off. Turn it on.
  3. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 6, 2012 -> 12:02 PM) Epic week of college ball starting tomorrow. This week we got: Baylor-Missouri Awesomeness. I get to see two awesome games in a row. This makes me happy.
  4. I really like Kevin Love and his foot was caught with Scola, but he looked down and stomped. He knew.
  5. QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 11:35 PM) I am not the only Sox fan outraged that Mark is gone. You guys sometimes fail to realize some people actually do agree with me on some of these issues. You sometimes fail to realize that those people are thinking 99% with their emotions and have never run a business before.
  6. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Feb 5, 2012 -> 03:03 PM) Pet Peeve #2 - The amount and degree of players flopping in college basketball is getting ridiculous. Two Ohio State players gave two of the biggest fake flops I've ever seen the past two weeks. One was so bad last week against Michigan, the OSU player (Thomas or Sullinger, I think?) flew back and hit the floor and the replay showed he was never touched by an elbow. It appeared there were 4-6 inches between the elbow and his face. I was watchign with the sound down so I might have missed something. They whistled the Michigan player for the foul and then went to the monitor to see if it was flagrant per the new rules and saw there wasn't any contact. The next thing I saw was Michigan taking the ball out of bounds, so they had to have reversed the call and taken the foul away. Last night, Robbie Hummel was driving on the wing leading with his forearm as is common. Before he made contact with the IU defender, he threw his head and shoulders back like he had been hit by a truck and ultimately went to the floor. There was contact and a foul was called on IU which will get no argument from me, but to watch his head and shoulders flop before contact was even made was ridiculous! I wish guys would just play the damned game!!! I am completely amazed that IU scored 78 points last night and even Purdue getting 61. At the 11:34 mark in the first half, Purdue led 9-8 and both teams were a combined 5-34 shooting from the field. If I wasn't an IU fan I would have changed the station in a hurry. I thought we were headed for another game in the 40's. Strange stat - In a game Purdue lost by 17 at home, they only had 3 turnovers for the entire game. Their first TO didn't come until about 5 minutes remained in the game. Amazing. If Kim English makes it to the NBA, he'll become legendary for his flopping skills.
  7. That atmosphere was insane. Holy f*** Marcus Denmon. Ice in your motherf***ing veins. Some guy rushed the court and English took him out.
  8. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 4, 2012 -> 08:34 PM) Well bmags I await your thanks for waking up Marcus... Thank you
  9. Can we just make one big thread for these? I feel it'd bd easier. (Not saying I don't appreciate it)
  10. Deng might still have surgery. I'd kill for Wilson Chandler or JR Smith if he does.
  11. QUOTE (Felix @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 09:47 PM) http://www.basketball-reference.com/leader...pct_career.html (obviously a lot of big men will be up there, but take note of the Reggie Miller's of the world) So Artis is the best scoring center ever, right?
  12. http://www.sportspickle.com/opinion/9843/w...-the-super-bowl Ozzie likes the Heat and Bulls.
  13. QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Feb 3, 2012 -> 03:54 PM) The thing against that is we have played more games than most teams while dealing with injuries and I think played the most road games in the league or close to it. And us winning the games weakens Strength of schedule.
  14. Houston, Indy, LA, Toronto, Buffalo are the best in my opinion. Chicago one is awful. Edit: Also, Philly and Utah are sweet. Add the Bay and Charlotte to the good column.
  15. QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 06:30 PM) Bulls look extremely flat. Hardly any movement on offense Welcome to no Lu or Rip.
  16. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 04:45 PM) (yes YOU Quinarvy ) I already pointed out my extreme bias of loving Noah and hating Dwight. That and I hate the thought of overpaying for Dwight when the best deal that could be offered would be Bynum/Filler, Lopez/Brooks, or crap from Dallas.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 03:30 PM) I dont know, but lets make sure we dont lose Mirotic and Charlottes pick Mirotic would actually be the perfect fit next to Howard and Rose.
  18. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) This is perfect for a message board debate seeing as it will never happen, but #2 to me is clearly the best option. Deng somehow stays(seemingly impossible to me), Boozer comes off the books and is replaced by a superior player in Taj, and oh year, you have Dwight Howard at center. Rose-Watson Rip-Brewer Deng-Turkoglu-Korver Taj-FA?? Howard-Asik Taj >>> Boozer at D Boozer >>> Taj at O What is more needed next to Howard?
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 02:35 PM) Joel Przybilla's agent, Bill Duffy, confirmed that the center is weighing offers to sign with either the Bulls or Heat, possibly as early as this week. Need ourselves that insurance big. Not that this deal would really matter, it'd just get THE THIRD off the roster and take the role that Kurt Thomas would have seen this year. Please give us Pryzbilla. And Lucas is here for the long haul.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 01:37 PM) You are right. He lumped them in with the Kings & Wizards and threw me off. Yes, maybe LeBron should work on his low post game a little more. But you don't get in that type of physical shape/endurance and put up those numbers with a lack of effort. And with the way Wade throws himself in the lane and has played injured, I don't know how he can be considered lazy. I literally can't think of a team other than the Kings or Wizards that is lazy.
  21. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Feb 1, 2012 -> 01:01 PM) Anybody who says that NCAA players try harder didn't watch Illinois basketball last year. McCamey had legit NBA aspirations and didn't give a s*** about it. Davis & Tisdale also half-assed it most of the time. Richmond and Leonard also come to mind for "could be better" players. Generally the guys who are known for working hard in college work hard in the NBA. Then DeMarcus Cousins worked hard at neither, but he sucks in the NBA because there are legit big men. John Wall was more talented in college, looked good. He has to work hard in the NBA because there are better players, or he'll be bad. Same for Kemba, Beasley, Thabeet, Fredette, etc. Then you have people like Rose who realize they need to work harder. It's more a "guys in college just coast in college, then suck because they never tried in the first place" type of deal.
