  1. 1) Ok, Castro is at least intriguing now given his past. But he's gotten lit up in AAA. 2) Hernandez seems to start half his games. A 5th starter/long man maybe? 3) I love SoxTalk. To my dad, it makes it seem like I have sources. 4) So here's the possible starters next year for AAA: Stewart - Santiago - Molina - Axelrod - Castro - Hernandez Chances any pan out to compliment Danks - Sale - Humber - Floyd?
  2. Simon Castro and Pedro Hernandez Color me underwhelmed.
  3. Intriguing considering the hauls they got for Latos & AGon. Padres got some nice pieces.
  4. QUOTE (greg775 @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:06 PM) Fourth place. Hope I'm wrong. It's time for this team to wake up and show some life. Greg, this was last years buddy.
  5. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:36 AM) Didn't catch the last 3 1/2 quarters or so. You missed a show.
  6. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:26 AM) Well, the unathletic Bulls kicked the high flying Clippers ass tonight and made it look easy...BTW, where's J4L? Rose is 5-0 vs Paul and he absolutely clowned him tonight. Like I said, J4L is the ultimate grass is always greener. I'll take that over unreasonable homerism always.
  7. QUOTE (Felix @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:11 AM) That Clippers team has some good starters (and I know they were missing Billups tonight), but holy jesus are they thin. That's going to get exploited big time during this condensed schedule. Randy Foye, Brian Cook and Ryan Gomes are three of their first four off the bench? Ugh. I don't know why not Reggie Evans. He's an amazing rebounder and great ball handler.
  8. QUOTE (Felix @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:08 AM) Man, if only he would have taken 10 more shots and scored 5 more points. I'd definitely prefer that over his ultra efficient performance All seriousness, he had an outstanding game. Absolutely filthy. Man, you do I gotta point out that "if" I had in there Felix If he's efficient and attacks, then f*** it, he could actually repeat as MVP.
  9. D-ROSE. BIGGER. STRONGER. FASTER THAN YOU CHRIS PAUL.
  10. QUOTE (SleepyWhiteSox @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 11:29 PM) Oh yeah, and DROSE > cp3 Oh dear lord, not this again (and by that, I mean, J4L/Felix vs. the Board)
  11. I'm sad now that I've been reminded of Mark.
  12. Griffin just flopped big time on a made free throw.
  13. QUOTE (Felix @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 10:00 PM) He works really, really hard, but doesn't get much burn. Tonight was his first time playing this season, and it was only because JJ Barea is out. I don't think he's got much of a future in this league, but he's a good guy that puts in the time to improve his game. Unfortunately, he's he's too short and not a good enough shooter to have a future IMO. Dang. I always traded for him in NBA 2k a few years ago as a 3pt specialist. And what just happened? Paul steals ball off Noah pass, Brewer steals Paul's pass, Jordan blocks Gibson.
  14. Aaaaaaand Lob from Butler to the 2nd greatest Center ever DeAndre Jordan (I'm just messing with you J4L)
  15. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 07:05 PM) I remember when Ozzie started Jones in center instead of Rios one game (Rios started in right) because they had a vote inside the clubhouse as to who the best OF on the team is. Jones won (probably because he had gold gloves) and Ozzie stupidly went with it. Thank god he's no longer the manager. 0_o This happened?
  16. QUOTE (Felix @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 09:28 PM) Wayne Ellington should never be your first option for the final shot. s***ty play call. Oh well.. really fun game, yet another moral victory. Would have been nice to actually steal the win, but it's hard to win when you turn the ball over 25 times. How is Wayne Ellington speaking of him? I loved him out of UNC but he's faded into obscurity, as TWolves not named Kevin are wont to do.
  17. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 07:03 PM) I'll allow it.
  18. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 05:15 PM) Eh, when you're battling cancer you kind of look for anything to lift your spirits. If the kid found some kind of comfort in "tebowing" and I assume eventually meeting Tim Tebow then good for him. And yeah, major networks like ESPN run with stories like this all the time, hard to blame them since your average viewer does like the heartwarming s***. Well, to be fair, I was sick 90% because it was Chris Berman saying "Tebow" and 10% because they rhymed "Tebowing" with "Chemoing"
