QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Nov 4, 2011 -> 08:37 PM) They can go out there and protest all they want. But they can't demand any of my hard earned wealth while not contributing on their own. I've seen enough of this protest to know a large majority of them are just the "have nots" being pissy at the "haves". If they left it at simply ending corporate welfare, I'm game. After all, that's true capitalism! Let the good businesses win and the bad ones fail. I'm down with that. But they are carrying a lot of baggage, ranging from ideas that I will never agree with to actions that I despise. And for those reasons, I will never join them. This. QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Nov 5, 2011 -> 08:08 PM) You haven't figured out that's sort of my whole schtick by now?

QUOTE (God Loves The Infantry @ Nov 5, 2011 -> 07:49 PM) Maybe it's just poor syntax on your part, but the 5th Stryker Brigade has roughly 4,000 Soldiers. And what, five of them, turned out to be murderous douchebags? Anyway, yeah, f*** them. They're not Soldiers and I'd gladly be the executioner for all of them. And for Calley. I don't know anything about the last three, but if they're anything like the first two examples, then f*** them too. I'll denounce the s*** out of people who disgrace the uniform. I wear this uniform with pride and I have no tolerance for people who would use it as a way to murder innocent people. Let the Taliban and the Palestinians celebrate murder and terrorism from those within their ranks; let us punish it when we find it amongst us. It just shows who's superior here. So that's just it. Where are the denouncements from OWS' main camp about the riots in Oakland and the idiocy in DC last night and the drug use and the rapes? If nobody denounces it and says that's not what they're about, how am I supposed to know that there are indeed good people in the movement? They risk being judged by their craziest elements. And so far, to be honest, I haven't seen a protester who does come across as sensible or reasonable or even likeable. Even the ones who aren't simply vulgar and clownish come off as tragically uninformed. I've agreed with some of your points in this thread, but you are very, very angry.

QUOTE (Cali @ Nov 5, 2011 -> 04:55 PM) More supposed Marlins uniforms leak.... So hideous haha http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/blog/big_leagu...urn=mlb-wp26449 QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 5, 2011 -> 05:31 PM) They look like they were designed by a preteen. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Nov 5, 2011 -> 09:55 AM) Sorry about that, I said 80 and then 40. It should be 40 since GTA San Andreas took place in the early 90's. I believe it was '92 to be exact. Either way, he would be 43 now. Tommy would be 60 according to GTA wiki. No way either of them are involved past a few cameos. http://kotaku.com/5856054/one-image-makes-...ormer-gta-icons

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 4, 2011 -> 07:54 PM) Well whaddya know about that. Jim Thome goes down in 05, Ryan Howard steps in. Ryan Howard destroys his leg, Jim Thome steps in. I'd imagine he's almost got to play some 1b while Howard works back. Good for Thome.

Minnie is a really nice guy if you get the chance to meet him... ...but even before meeting him, I thought he should be a HoFer, so good luck Minnie!

If Buehrle is on any other team next year, I will cry. If it's for the Cubs, I'll cry and be pissed.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 4, 2011 -> 12:14 PM) Dont you have to put God in quotations since its a mythical being based on your beliefs? I hate how she said "it's right." Ok, to you, yes. To others? Maybe not. He's not mocked for being religious, but because he's seen as a demigod but can't play for s***. -

QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Nov 3, 2011 -> 03:32 PM) Plus, Ryan didn't even throw a punch until Pudge Rodriguez grabbed and held Ventura. And Robin actually takes him down as everyone else starts getting involved. That fight was horses***. And if you look at it, Ventura's heart isn't in that fight. He was standing up for his guys. I so wish that Frank had charged instead. -

QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 3, 2011 -> 12:09 AM) Congrats to Mark, a special player. Do yu guys think any way the Royals will make a bid for him? He's exactly what they need if they wish to do squat next season. No. For Mark I see Cards, Sox, or retiring.

QUOTE (cws0591 @ Nov 3, 2011 -> 12:36 AM) that guy does look like tommy, but he looked too young given the time when Vice City took place. Plus the narrator had a Hispanic accent. I think it is more likely that the GTA 3 character(could that guy be him in light of the games ten year anniversary?) or CJ make an appearance seeing as they both made appearances in San A before. Also, I am so hyped for this game that I am going to purchase Saints Row 3 just to scratch that sandbox itch I've got. f*** it, put Claude, Tommy, CJ, and Niko all in the game.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 06:53 PM) Hogwash. Scott Merkin is easily the best. In fact, I can give you the headliner for his next five articles: "Adam Dunn is out to prove the critics wrong; has plenty left in the tank." "Alex Rios to be the next Matt Kemp?" "Jake Peavy's heart and soul finally ready to wreak havoc on AL Central foes." "Gordon Beckham says his spirit is alive and kicking." "Ozzie did it his second year, why not Robin in '12?" As for on topic, if this means swinging at a first pitch fastball down the middle, I'm for it damnit.

QUOTE (MAX @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 09:23 PM) That crap is so overblown and weak anyway. People who say "he kicked his ass', I think, have never been in a proper fight in their lives. Robin gets headlocked, while being held onto by two other people, smacked a couple times in the top of the head, and doesn't even bleed. They whole thing is over in like 3 seconds or less. And people still talk about it here like he was KO'd or hospitalized. Or that its sooooo embarrassing to lose a fight. Get a grip people. This. And Ventura wasn't into that fight, he was standing up for his team with a show of defiance. -
QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 08:33 PM) Sounded like Ray Liotta. According to IGN, it's not. I want a Chicago or New Orleans based GTA so badly though. Something different. Or just say "f*** it!" and give us Los Santos, San Fierro, Las Venturas, Liberty City, and Vice City all in one game, like the first one, but massive. It'd require an install on the 360.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Nov 2, 2011 -> 10:51 AM) Mark deserved it and AJ deserved not to win. But the fact Alexei and Gordo didnt even get consideration is a farce.
