  1. At least we are seeing good starting pitching from our guys.
  2. This organization has a high tolerance for bad.
  3. We just have too many mentally weak players.
  4. Glad Cease is in again. Welcome to the Majors.
  5. Rookie mistake or lack of fundamnetals? You make the call.
  6. Someone on this site is not gonna like because Abreu drove in the tying run. Grienke got lucky on that one - not Abreu.
  7. The dude that caught that HR ball, 1st major league game and from England.
  8. Grienke can field and bunt. That curve was impressive to K Skole.
  9. Does anyone ever bother to listen to them. They have an arrogance about them.
  10. Collecting and selling are two different things. When I was a kid the Cubs did a charity basketball game across the street from my house, at town of 4000. After the game they signed autographs. I got Santo, Kessinger, Reuschal bros., and Billy Williams signed my glove. Those autographs are probably in a closet somewhere. So what did I do with my autographed glove. I used it to play baseball. We didn't think of possible value but it was cool a player signed something. Some famous people don't do autographs because it's about profit and not personal.
  11. Asking him to be manager is worse than the bad trades. You eliminated a lot of experienced candidates. Star players should realize it's never a good idea to be a manager. It erases the fan's remembrance of them being a great player.
  12. I can't get it out of my head thinking Tatis is on the Astros.
  13. I think Tyler Flowers just isn't good at baseball no matter what stat you throw out.
  14. Could it be the other players around him?
  15. How many in the organization were great players? They should try to recruit people in habitually winning organizations.
  16. That's why some believe Madrigal is a wasted pick. It's always been that way in baseball. You will also see clips of defensive plays or a pitcher who Ks twelve.
  17. Agree. It's the toughest position to develop and no longer a glamorous position in baseball. I think most organizations prefer a guy to do well behind the plate than at the plate.
  18. Yep. Since we discussed it's almost a sure bet Reinsdorf will say no.
  19. Always a Uribe fan. He benefited at the plate by having the great lineup in 2005. He was one of those guys were he went they win.
