Did anyone start paying less attention to the Barons since Robert and Madrigal moved up? Who are the names to watch on the Barons?

Some would add Madrigal to those dinosaurs.

He spent almost all of his career in the NL and those stats don't always translate to the AL when that extra batter is one of the teams better hitters unless you are the White Sox. Either that or the Sox have bad luck with NL talent. I doubt getting Harper would have changed that trend. I think that trade was worse than the Shields trade.

With the additional team speed Ricky might be tempted to bunt more often.

Something I've seen for a long time is they could care less if a guy could catch a baseball. The sad thing is many of those players were really bad at it. Then they would take those players and try to convert them to a position of need. Remember they tried to make Viciedo play 3rd in the minors. The most memorable one from the KW era was Josh Field. Cora and Ozzie couldn't help him.

Nope the dude needs to work on being a catcher. I'm one that isn't concerned about his bat as much as the position he was drafted. We have too many DH/1B.

If I had to vote to put up with his Abreu bashing vs, Greg's Abreu worship the latter wins hands down. LOL potential playoff run. That was Ventura first year and Jose wasn't there.
