QUOTE (ChiSox59 @ Jul 9, 2016 -> 07:23 AM) Can cross Ziegler off the most. Boston picked him up last night for a couple A ballers. That ain't gonna happen until JR is gone. Time to face reality. I question the competence of the scouting in this organization.

QUOTE (soxforlife05 @ Jul 10, 2016 -> 02:31 AM) Yeah it does seem like Semien alone was an awful lot to give up for a 1 year rental. A rental? No. They had intentions of offering ace money to that rental. -
7/6/16 - Yankees @ White Sox - 7:10 - WPWR

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ Jul 6, 2016 -> 09:52 PM) Anyway, did we really need to use Robertson with a 5-run lead? That's why it's hard for me to give up on the fire Ventura bangwagon. -

QUOTE (Dunt @ Jul 6, 2016 -> 12:30 PM) Id rather just be riding a 4 game winning streak into the break personally. 47-41 is a lot more appealing than 46-42. I don't think they have won more than 3 in a row since April. It's a trademark of the Ventura era. -
QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 10:28 PM) Chase Headley...the new Ryan Raburn. Rodon has really taken a step back this year. Mark Don't worry Coop will fix him.............?

QUOTE (Capn12 @ Jul 3, 2016 -> 02:58 PM) 2 runs is about all you'll get, Q. No one remembers how to hit with RISP. Make your 0 room for mistakes, work. Let's hope it's not the familiar script where he gives up two more before he's done. I still have no confidence in the pen.

How many wins will Chris Sale have this season?

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 2, 2016 -> 06:47 PM) I know wins don't matter, but damn, 14-2 looks pretty good I believe they do. Teams play better when a certain guy is on the mound. -
QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Jul 2, 2016 -> 06:15 PM) Missing a couple hanging sliders and 90 mph fastballs down the middle isn't a good at bat. Look how bad the other two looked.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 2, 2016 -> 06:05 PM) Probably 8 good pitches to hit and he does nothing Other than Abreu had had the best at bat of the inning.

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jun 30, 2016 -> 03:14 PM) This game went from comfortable to a horror show rather quickly when Coates becomes the DH It wouldn't be White Sox baseball otherwise. I'm anticipating more mental midget performances.

QUOTE (Deadpool @ Jun 26, 2016 -> 02:26 PM) It's seems like every year there's a new anomaly in this organization. They all come from the NL. Once he has a 1 year of facing AL pitching maybe he'll be better. At some point you have to ignore every stat and look at history. Few NL players have success in this organization. Eaton has but only spent 2 years in the NL. There's a pattern that maybe says it's time to stop. -
QUOTE (GreenSox @ Jun 27, 2016 -> 08:10 AM) About time. Hahn has been making the precise opposite moves that winning teams make: acquiring the old players that winners sell-off for ML ready prospects. And when he did dump, they were Williams-like giveaways (except for Peavy). He's just following the usual blueprint. Looking for lightning in a bottle. Doesn't seem so far removed from Kenny.

Interesting that all of those runs didn't come from the 3 guys that are suppose to be the run producers. -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 08:46 PM) The strategy of every opposing team against our top 3 pitchers is going to be to take pitches, foul them off...work long into counts and try to get Sale/Q/Rodon out of the game after the 5th or 6th, giving them 3-4 opportunities against the suddenly depleted and completely vulnerable Sox bullpen. The Sox would never adopt that strategy. If a guy has an era close to 5 and above hack at every pitch possible. -

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 08:15 PM) Because the Rangers are down three starters now and he could relax pitching behind that offense. He would give up a ton of homers in Arlington, but they just need him to eat innings and keep the team in the game. I'm 100% sure that, for no explicable reason, he'd go down there and be perfectly fine and look like he has for the last season and 2 months in SD. Just because... So far he's caused a manager to eat a bullpen. -

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 08:03 PM) Raw, a rookie. What do you expect? Makes you wonder after totally crushing that HR if that is messing with his head. -
QUOTE (Tex @ Jun 24, 2016 -> 03:18 PM) I can only think of a few Sox catchers to play in the all-star game AJ, Fisk a few times, and Lollar for about a decade. Bears QBs and Sox catchers are about the same. I think it's been that way in baseball for over a decade. At one time the casual baseball fan to name a few catchers. It's not that way anymore. If they can hit they want to move them to another position. If there was another modern day Munson or Fisk I bet most organizations would turn them into OF or 1B.
