Andrew Vaughn and Eloy: what's the plan here?
kitekrazy replied to chitownsportsfan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Trade is a bad word Sox fans. For a fan it's more emotional than rational. You can't answer the "trade for what?" The answer is "at least we don't have to deal with them". There's no logic in that. You have hopes a GM doesn't see what we do. That type of GM only belongs to the White Sox. Chris Getz is another one. How many GMs keep a 100 loss manager who is clueless. Try that wheel of fortune again. The bearings are rusted and always stops on fail. Trade is a bad word Sox fans. Trade is a bad word.. -
Florida is not a good state for professional sports. You can trace that back to the Dan Marino era.
-
Well one organization benefited from a Sox player. We shall see how it does with Lynn. Trade is a bad word for Sox fans.
-
Many games at 630. Nice for a change.
-
Trade is a bad word Sox fans. They never work. A haul, stocked farm is a myth. Don't forget it is the Sox, not the Rays or Dodgers. Change your mindset similar to the Royals.
-
JR will probably live to be 103 and still thinks he knows baseball. He will always seek Tony's advice.
-
The Sox are not an organization these days for scenery changes.
-
They need to upstage the Bears in this area.
-
Srs pay 10. The season pass is $100. Too bad gas prices suck out here.

I might go to an AZL game if it is not expensive. At least I recognize one player's name. My luck I go and he doesn't play. The last time I went to one is when Engel was leading that league in hitting. When I went he was coaching 1st base.

The biggest myth in baseball. Often a symptom of the habitual losing organization small market fanbase. There is this false premise this organization can scout, draft, and develop. Despite these changes in the organization there are few of them. The decisions made by Kenny and Hahn were also under the advice of scouting. The best teams never give you their top prospects. They lead you to believe they are. If it's obvious to the fans the Sox are a weak organization do you think GMs don't know this? You don't replace a star player unless you are sure the prospect is going to be as good. That's a risk the Rays and Dodgers can take. Sox have had this huge hole in CF ever after 2005. You want to do that again? Sox ruin prospects and they do it with other organizations prospects. Funny how the released Zavala coming off injury only to be replaced by a AAA catcher coming off injury. Shoulda let that boy get some more swings in Charlotte. Stocked farms are overrated but good for fisheries. This is not about trading youth for current players. You fail to see the lack of fundamentals and more bad base running. It's a Sox constant. It's hard to fix that in the majors. See Nick Madrigal. Someday that Sox Wheel of Fleeced will turn into Wheel of Fortune. Someday....Someday..... How many failures at scouting and developing are Jerry's untouchables? Some ideas are fine in a fantasy environment but reality it history. There's still some incompetent people and now there's new incompetent people. If you want the small market habitual losing mentality we are almost there as the Sox are becoming more Royalesque. Vague terms adopted by fans are Haul Stocked farm Meaningless games

Headline says changes but the print says not really. Katz needs to go .
-
i THINK HE WAS REFERRING TO THE TEAMS IN THE POST SEASON.
-
Who knows. I'm thinking it was to improve the farm. Trade is such a bad word for Sox fans to throw around. The latest example is cutting Zavala coming off from injury to be replaced by a guy in AAA coming off injury. This organization is beyond stupid and will remain so.
-
They weren't suppose to be in the position anyway. They were predicted to losing closer to 90 than winning 90. Both teams didn't live up to their predictions just in opposite directions.
-
I get the feeling this guy is going to live to be 100.
-
Reality says he needs to be moved from owning a sports franchise.
-
That was the only theory I could possibly come up with for such a stupid trade.
-
Trade is a bad word for the Sox organization. They don't work yet fans say trade but forget the realistic part like for what? Stocked farm, getting a haul are just buzz words for the fantasy player. It's a false sense of reality when an organization can't develop or draft. Sure they night get lucky but history points the same direction as their sponsor.
-
There is a trend of managers not getting rehired.
-
The drawback many miss is the team getting worse in team speed. You don't want to be the 2006 Sox were HR are the main source or certain guys can't help score on the bases.
-
LOL. Rain delay. BTW I think the Padres are not eliminated yet. The teams playing for the final spot are exhausted.
-
No they wont. That's just a projection from someone suffering from habitual losing fanbase syndrome. Coulda, woulda ,shoulda, They are rental players. Do you really think the Cubs ignored any offers? They did the right thing. There's only room for one white flag baseball team in this town,

ESPN ranked White Sox season #30 last in MLB with an F ranking.
kitekrazy replied to hankchifan's topic in Pale Hose Talk
We knew that already. Must be rocket scientists at ESPN.
