Kinda odd but I've been watching the wild card race. It's a looooooooooooong shot for the Sox but not impossible.

CLE can't seem to lose a game. -
Colts fan. Owner failed to fire the GM which led to the Luck retirement. An organization that was blessed having franchise and 2 HoF QBs are just like the rest of the league. NHL - anyone ever by the season pass to watch online? Spend a $130 and most games are blacked out. Should be a class action lawsuit. I find the NFL boring. NBA - don't care. I miss the days when athletes played the game and didn't spout their opinion on everything. Most of the famous entertainers kept their mouth shut.

I'm getting closer to divorcing myself from this organization. The owner is very good at alienating a fan base. It happens even in small things like Beckham in the announcing booth. I will never ridicule Cub fans because this organization has become a complete joke. It depends on what happens after this season that I will finalize my divorce. I don't live in the viewing area so I have to fork out $130 to watch baseball. It's worth it to me anyway since I have basic cable. I'm in the West Coast viewing area just up the street from the Sox/Dodgers DT facility. I've grown fond of watching the Dodgers. There's hopes of new ownership and that can be worse because owners rarely live in their boundaries. If I were to leave the only way I would come back is if they are a solid organization like the Rays or Dodgers. I couldn't deal with trading great players for prospects and be like the Royals where you might be great once a decade. The problem with this organization is they litter it with former players. Sox have more often been mired in mediocrity because of loyalty. There is no outside influence. This team has ruled the Chicago media but only because it's been nothing but a soap opera.

Old Sock Drawer, ex Sox player discussion

Their coaching is superior and probably couldn't afford them. Reinsdorf is into former players which come from mired in mediocrity. I guess they couldn't really fix Kimbrel. They had 6 different pitchers record saves. There is something magical about that organization that we will never see from the Sox. -

I think that trade was worse than the Kimbrel trade. 2 of 3 players Sox gave up has All Star appearances, I think. -

I can;t imagine how far back one would have to go when they developed a catcher. The expectations are not yet fulled at 3rd with Moncada. CF has always been an issue. Now the issue is health. -
AZ went on a winning streak. They are also in a tough division and not distant from .500. Sometimes luck is involved. It's touch to face teams starting a winning streak or coming off a losing streak. Getting owned by the Royals is what hurts.

I think the bad part of all ML players is bulking up.
-
That's the Sox MO. I disagree with trying to plan around injury. How many players on this team fit the above? Every team knows the Sox don't hustle in an attempt to stay healthy.
-
Maybe they are hot right now. Twins series is shocking.

Tony's presence and Leury starting often result in a loss.

Interesting how statements like this branch off into other directions. There have been owners in the past that had uniform codes for their teams. Facial hair or long hair was one of them. I think the NFL has a policy for all players. Remember Jim McMahon's headbands?

This talk is premature. JR and TLR might ruin this.
