I never understood drafting a player who physically can only play one position not named catcher. I've come to the conclusion that it can't be any worse by replacing a bad player usually becomes that it actually is worse.

I doubt he ever walked a hitter with a 1-2 count or continued to play a lousy player because he hit some good foul balls. It will take at least a decade for the Sox to be meaningful. That's Getz idea of patience.

It does suck watching other teams and thinking that could be us....like never. Even more annoying is seeing some teams that lost 100 the year before playing in the post season.
