The GM is not allowed to in this case. I have to wonder if KW thinks Tony should go along with the coaching staff. The problem is they are not going to remove JR's choice of manager. -

Wont work. For the Sox it's a lateral or regressing move. Probably end up with some more NL guys that will fail. For me history says more than the baseball vacuum. I'd keep Cueto. Pitching is overpriced. Looking bad not signing Rodon was a bad move. -

Unfortunately exists in coaching staffs. Rare does a GM come in and fire staff. -

I guess trying to win last nights game really stands out when you have a minor leaguer going against an ace. -

It's been that way for some time. -
Grind out at bats, take pitches , protect with 2 strikes

He stresses good at bats. -
This was another excuse no to blame Tony LaBevington. I think the Tony that Hawk fired was better. Jerry hired him and Hahn and KW are forced to support that decision. If they start unloading the players because of a bad manager. I think I;m done with this team.

I guess it depends on who you put in.
-
Yep and sometimes the starters are the problem. Since last year this team is notorious for surrendering leads after the 7th.

The Katz method of trying to throw through a wall and get those Ks.

Can't call up someone from Charlotte for a spot start. It would look like a Lynn outing.
-
The greater surprise is the Sox put up 4 runs so far. Hopefully the pen doesn't go into mental weakness mode.
-
Imagine of the Sox didn't make a trade and made the playoffs. Most like if the Sox got Ohtani and Trout they'd make the playoffs. Somehow though Tony would mismanage Ohtani. Trout also has an injury history and Tony will bubble wrap him and Leury will be his sub.

Joe Kelly says "no I can get him out". Tony agrees if it's a high leverage situation.
-
It makes sense since players come from other languages and cultures. I think this may be manufactured news so the Sox still get some attention because most talk will be about the NFL. Also making excuses for Tony.
-
So is tony leaving?
-
If it comes down to winning the game do you think Tony will pinch hit TA for Leury.

79 wins might take this division.

If the Sox trade for Juan Soto we have a chance.
kitekrazy replied to Jerksticks's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Tony would rather do this on his own. The big market teams wouldn't trade for him when they could eventually buy him. -

But we could be like the pre Ohtani Angels and have just one superstar. I never understand why people make these threads. Save it for fantasy baseball. -

Not in a White Sox uniform. I don't need to think when the obvious is right there. It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. -
You are basing your assumption that somehow GMs and scouts don't see what we see,
