His hands-on involvement over the past three and a half decades has garnered very little in terms of positive results, so it really would be nice to just hear at some point that he's decided to retire and step away from it all. Because until he does it's just going to be more and more and more of the same poor achievement by this franchise. He's had his chance - time for him to let it go!!

September games in an empty ballpark when seemingly no one in the world cares about the White Sox...suck. Thank you again. Mr. Reinsdorf.

KW leaving would be a start in the right direction, but let's remember that he, and Hahn, and Bell, and all of the others are just the symptoms of this organization's problems when it comes to fielding a sustainable winning ball club. The root cause of the problem continues to be the strategic vision coming from the top, from Jerry Reinsdorf himself. The rest of these characters are simply carrying out his wishes and executing according to his orders. That part, doing what the boss tells you to do, is fine. That happens in every organization. But if what you are executing is flawed, if the vision and strategies are not designed well, then that's where the problem lies. And the record over the past 35 years executing Mr. Reinsdorf plans clearly show his shortcomings in that dept., because the Sox have been very deficient when it comes to winning over the past several decades - 2005 or no 2005.

Alexi is arguably the worst sacrifice bunter I have ever seen. I seriously don't know why they ever call on him to do it, especially in this situation.

If facts have anything to do with the determination, his legacy as owner of the White Sox will be a very poor one, even with the accomplishment of 2005.

You talk about a crying shame! Virtually kept a secret, you might say, except for the 32 games they benevolently bestowed upon us on Channel 32 that year. Reinsdorf and Einhorn inherited both Caray and WGN from Bill Veeck, and as a sign of things to come, the first in a series of bungling decisions that would go onto define this failing ownership, the first thing they did was to get rid of both. And they, Jerry & Eddie, supposedly two great businessmen, or so we were told - HA! You could have fooled me.
