  1. QUOTE (AWhiteSoxinNJ @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 04:18 PM) We've shifted our focus from Dunn to Berkman according to my Phillies source. Your phillies source apparently has access to the internet
  2. QUOTE (Frank_Thomas35 @ Jul 29, 2010 -> 03:17 PM) B-I-N-G-O Kenny laying a trap, nothing to see here, move along folks
  3. I'd love to be able to read the minds of Bobby's teammates if he blows another one tonight
  4. debating listening to the rest of the game on the radio, i love farmer's HR calls
  5. Alexei kills the ball every year during July/August, at least it seems that way only difference now is his defense has been stellar
  6. Is Mark one of the worst pitchers in baseball on 3-2 counts? I can't be the only person who notices how often hitters have success off him on 3-2 counts, and they're usually really hard hit balls
  7. QUOTE (PlaySumFnJurny @ Jul 28, 2010 -> 08:28 PM) When was the last time we won on a walkoff? I'm feelin' one. lol against the mariners here at the cell, Rios i believe? or Jones?
  8. this would be a nice time for mark to find his stuff one thing i will say about our hitters, they are awesome. i remember years past, even in 2008 where we'd get behind early and they would just shut it down....
  9. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 28, 2010 -> 01:56 PM) Viciedo and Hudson for Dunn. Would you do it today? I bet the Nats would. That's our only hope for a significant trade IMO and I wouldn't do it. Viciedo would be a nice bat the rest of this season if given the chance IMO. f*** no, not for 2 months.
  10. Not sure if this has been posted yet Per the Score this morning, Beckham was told by Kenny that he will not be traded. So that nips Fielder talks I would assume.
  11. Isn't Dunn's arbitration value around 17-18m? Who the f*** is going to offer him arbitration?
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 27, 2010 -> 05:45 PM) Sadly, there's talk in KC Greinke's shoulder is not right. WTF with pitchers? What is going on? Incase you didn't know, he didn't hurt his shoulder pitching. It was during a play he tried to make, trying to field a ball or something
  13. Ichiro is untouchable until he decides he wants out, and last i checked he likes it there, it has the whole 'home away from home' thing goin on for him Edit: wow he'll be 37 in october
  14. Offensively is this gonna be the worst season of AJ's career?
  15. I love stone because he speaks in riddles, and lays subtle hints and clues. A lot of the time you don't really notice what he's actually saying, it sounds very opinion-based and you'll usually pass it off, but if you dig a little deeper he's telling you a bit more without exposing himself as somebody who's untrustworthy with that kind of information I'm kind of excited
  16. Stone said on M&H this morning that Kenny is going to make a "significant move" Take it FWIW
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 25, 2010 -> 03:55 PM) Hudson has to hold them here. We're getting back into the mode of "7-10 Sox hitters retired in a row". Shades of April/May. This homestand couldn't come at a better time. Maybe King Felix will have a blister problem! hell, shades of yesterday A's are swinging confidently right now, even if they're making outs, Hudson will have to be pinpoint from here on or they'll be getting a lot of bloop shots at the least
  18. Wonder if Hudson and Beckham are slightly affected by all of the talk of trade rumors, it wouldn't shock me nor would i really blame them if it made them peform subpar, hopefully August 1st will spell a lot of the anxiety
  19. Hudson isn't the answer this year, dude walks too many guys and pitches scared with runners on
  20. Brutal attempt by Beckham at holding it to 1 run, just absolute s*** right there, dive for that f***ing ball
