Well I was thinking more on the lines of a trade where they also include Gallo or a good prospect and than turn around after the trade and sign Lynn. Agreed.

It really all depends on who they give up for Lynn and if Gallo or a good prospect is coming back in the trade because they can just turn around and sign him.

I was hoping the Sox would sign Springer, but now I’m just expecting them to sign Pederson to a one year deal, sign Colas or Cespedes and than use the money towards pitching. Possibly trade for a TOR starter but it depends on the cost. The Phillies lost an estimated 145 million and you would have to imagine most teams lost a considerable amount of money this year. Indicative of the slow offseason so far.

Yeah that’s a good way to put it. By the way what do you think of Portillos? Do you think he’s full of hot air as well? I know James has mentioned on occasion that he has some good intel even though he is a burner account.

I agree with your point of view here. However, I’m just citing the fact that it doesn’t seem fair that other posters get to post his tweets but I get called out on it when I post them. Just my opinion. Anyways, there are more important things to worry about.

No he didn’t say it directly but just the way he made it sound like, the Blue Jays are the more attractive team and aren’t letting the pandemic affect their spending. I don’t know maybe I just misread it.
