Actually on second thought...It’s apparently being finalized early this week. That doesn’t mean that it’s going to be announced right away. It may take a few days or more.

It’s taking awhile to announce the rest of the staff. We know that most of the staff is coming back but wasn’t this supposed to be announced early this week. Its already Wednesday. Lol

I agree. I think we would be giving up too much for a one year rental in Lynn unless we think we can sign him to a contract. Marquez is interesting but is he worth giving up assets for and someone that will be a difference maker for this team in the playoffs? I don’t think so.

Ok so if you had to choose between Darvish, Lynn and Marquez. Who would you take and why?

I would think it would be a salary dump though so I don’t know if it would cost that many assets to get him.

It will be interesting to see how the Sox approach this. Do they try to acquire Bryant or Schwarber or do they stick with the plan and try to sign Springer first?

Well James thinks they have the financial capability to sign one player not both so we’ll see. I would hope the Sox have learned their lesson from the Machado and Harper sweepstakes by now.

Wait I thought that he had already won this award. That must have not have been the big award and got confused.

I wouldn’t be upset if they missed out on Springer though because a Bradley Jr and Robert outfield would be something to see. Even Joc Pederson is a good fit for this team.

Well that stinks. James said last week that it was a possibility they could sign Springer and now he’s saying they aren’t going to sign him. I wonder what changed? Maybe the Sox are not offering what Springer is looking for? I now think he’s going to either New York, Boston or maybe Atlanta.

Look, I could be wrong too but I’m actually enjoying it. We are usually never considered or perceived to be this active in free agency.

The thing is we don’t know if for certain if these two accounts are for real or they are fake. The only information we have is they are connected to Not Steve Cishek and the notion is because they are connected to him, we automatically think all of them are fake because of what happened during the trade deadline. Harold also thinks they are idiots and he’s not going to comment on there tweets but does he have solid evidence to back it up or has actually come out and said they are not legit. I mean an actual source that these guys are not legit?
