  1. Who is Sprimger? I don’t know who that is. Hahaha
  2. Swap Archer with Kluber, or Quintana and you have a solid rotation.
  3. The emotional bond or attachment to certain players on this board is something else. When you rebuild towards winning championships, you groom or grow your farm to create value for future acquisitions; this means you may have to give up some of those players you developed during the rebuild to acquire players that will help you win championships. I’m not saying they should give up the whole farm but they will have to give up something. I think the problem is some people, not all, on this board are so used to losing because there mind is already trained on it or they have this perception that the rebuild is still going. It’s over folks, time to move on and start winning championships.
  4. No I don’t think so. Too early yet. All of the big name free agents haven’t accepted or rejected their qualifying offers yet except for Bauer. He rejected his. They have until November 11th to decide.
  5. I agree. However, I still think they should keep Kopech because we haven’t seen that much of him to even make a call but eventually you may be able to make a case if he doesn’t turn out to be as advertised.
  6. Yeah but Cease hasn’t been all that great either. He’s pitched more innings but nothing spectacular yet.
  7. Scroll up and see my post from an hour ago. For #3 either Marquez, Lynn or Darvish. For #4 either Quintana, or Kluber.
  8. Yeah but you slot Kopech or Dunning in the 5th spot and your fine.
  9. It’s funny last year most we’re saying, oh Kopech is going to be a future star but now all of a sudden you want to trade him. Is it because he opted out of this year and the perception is he will turn out to be a bust?
  10. No I agree, I think the pitching coach would make a difference but I would still dangle him in a trade if it means we’re getting someone back that will help us win championships.
  11. Because he relies too much on his fastball to blow away batters. He needs to develop a cutter or maybe a 91-93 mph 2 seam fastball or something.
  12. The thing with Cease is he does throw hard but you don’t need to throw hard in the majors if you have filthy stuff. If your fastball tops out at say 95.7 mph and if you have filthy breaking stuff that 95.7 mph fastball is going to feel like or look like 98 or higher from the batter’s perspective.
  13. Hey you claimed last Wednesday that you were Not Cishek. Are you saying now that your pulling our leg? Lol
  14. I actually think they will sign a big name free agent but for a TOR SP, ehhh we shall see. More likely a backend of the rotation starter in free agency. I think the offseason will look something like this or similar. Free Agency RF: Springer 2nd: Wong SP: Quintana or Kluber Trade SP: Marquez, Lynn or Darvish There’s your splash offseason. Lol
  15. You can see the correlation with all the information that’s out there and what has been discussed so far.
  16. Your welcome! I love hunting up stuff on twitter and the internet until my fingers fall off. ? If I find anything else, I will be sure to share.
  17. Thanks for posting the tweets Orlando! I was going to do it last night but didn’t. He does seem legit with the information he has.
  18. I can see your point. Not Steve Cishek posted this tweet from PortillosHamburger on his account and commented on it. It’s obvious that he just reads what he sees and tweets it. He’s got to be someone from this board.
  19. It’s very frustrating but I think it will be either Ethan Katz or Matt Zaleski.
  20. Not Steve Cishek has been quiet the last couple days. Lol
  21. I love that I’m stirring the pot with some folks on Soxtalk today! ? *sarcasm*
