  1. I’m at the point where I don’t care about them winning the division anymore. I just want this team to be healthy for the playoffs. No injuries.
  2. I can’t wait for the meltdown here. It’s going to be entertaining.
  3. We’re going to get swept. Oh well let’s get out of Cleveland fast.
  4. Cmon RR or anyone in the dugout, fire up the troops. There needs to be more energy.
  5. I don’t think I want to play Cleveland in the playoffs. They have our number this year for some reason.
  6. That’s what this thread needs. Some joking around to lighten things up a bit. ?
  7. Yeah I had deleted my post because I saw the post above mine. I guess that makes sense considering they had to choose between lefties and he was unfortunately the odd man out due to his situation.
  8. I had originally mentioned they should DFA Gonzalez but I remembered that he has postseason experience and there is an article out there mentioning that he has been a great influence to the younger guys in the bullpen so I think it’s good to keep him.
  9. Watch, Renteria is going to use José Ruiz late in the game again today. ?
  10. Well I think at this point the front office in the offseason has to ask themselves, do we want the organization to start winning championships or are we content with just getting to the playoffs every year? And than just sit down with the players and get there honest feedback and than go from there. Hopefully the players will say something like, “RR is like a father to us but we want to win championships, etc.”
  11. RR may be a players manager or someone that is like a father figure in the clubhouse but I don’t think he’s the type of manager that is good at setting lineups and strategizing for difficult in game scenarios hence why I think he may not be the right manager for this team long term. There’s a reason why the Cubs got rid of him and maybe that’s why. He’s just not going to take this team to the next level.
  12. Good idea but where else will people go to treat their Post Traumatic Soxtalk Disorder?!?! ?
  13. Here comes the negativity! I’m just stating an obvious fact that their road record is not good. I get that they are healthy now. Relax bro!
  14. The Yankees road record isn’t that good though so they are beatable.
  15. Wow I think this guy needs some positivity right now. ?
  16. I think next year we will see EE, Mazara, McCann, Cishek, and Gio Gonzalez gone. That should hopefully allow us to go out and sign a few free agents that will give us a better chance to compete for the division and the World Series next year. This team is good but missing a few pieces.
  17. Hopefully they remember this and come back next year fighting when there’s an actual full length season, if they don’t pull it off this year.
  18. I don’t think the players should hang there heads from this. They made it a close division race this year and made it to the playoffs. That’s something that is an accomplishment from where they were and the season is not even over yet. There are 4 games yet to be played. Young teams go through phases like this and eventually get over the hump. I think the fan base is overreacting to this honestly. I would rather have them lose the division and just worry about the seeding. Also, so the rest of the division doesn’t gun for them next year and it’s fresh in there minds to come out fighting when there’s an actual full length season and quite honestly a real season with fans in the stands. This has been a weird year because they are only playing less than half the games that would normally be played.
  19. The way we lost the last two games was downright ugly but we have Keuchel going tomorrow. Let’s go out and get a win tomorrow!
