I’ve pretty much given up on the division.

I’ve had it with this manager of ours. He doesn’t know how to use his pitchers and is so clueless on when to pull them when they are tired.

I’ve just had it with this team. No energy and no drive whatsoever.

Can I guess another strikeout for Luís.

I had a feeling that it was going to be really tough stretch and that the 3 game lead was took good to be true. Right now I would just concentrate on preparing for the playoffs and not put any pressure on themselves winning the division.

I think we should just forget about the division championship at this point. It’s not going to happen for this team. Just concentrate on the next series with the Cubs and try to win at least one game in the playoffs to get some experience.

Man we are really in a slump right now.

Is our strength and conditioning staff doing there job in keeping these guys healthy? It seems like they are always tweaking something or getting injured a lot.

I don't think they use Co-champions anymore. If you win the tiebreaker that means you win the division completely. In 2008 when we won the tiebreaker game, that was the case. Unless I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure that’s how it works.

That off day for the Twins tomorrow is crucial because if we lose again tonight and the Twins win, we need to win tomorrow to gain that .05 game back because we hold the tiebreaker. That would be a momentum booster going into the Cubs series.

I have a question, if the Sox win and the Twins lose tonight wouldn’t that drop the magic number to two and if the Sox win and the Twins win the magic number would go to three correct?

Isn’t it fun when your an out of state fan of a team and they come in to play a meaningful game in the state where you live and they win! It’s always interesting to watch the reaction of the fans. Speaking of the Angels, what the heck happened to them this year? If you think the Sox situation right now is bad, the Angels have it way worse.

It’s frustrating I know. However, those types of mistakes are expected from a rookie in his first season so I wouldn’t give up on him yet. He will hopefully learn from it and grow!

I do remember that. They rode those last two games or mini hot streak into the playoffs and the rest is history.

The 2005 team never quit. They had the composure and the confidence under tough situations to eventually succeed. When a team or a couple teams threw some punches at them, they would punch back. That team was built to win a championship.

I would have to imagine a lot of the guys in the clubhouse are taking it hard right now. They win 3 out of 4 against the Twins and they build a 3 game lead and than this happens. Hopefully the leaders step up and take responsibility for it and motivate the troops.

Who would’ve thought when we started spring training, that we would’ve been in the position we are in right now.

It doesn’t matter. The runner gets placed on 2nd automatically and it gives a team an easier for a run. I wouldn’t want to be someone that lives or takes from other people or in this case a team if they haven’t earned it. You allow the other team to work hard for it and you allow the other team to get the double with no outs instead of just giving them an easy in. No ifs and or buts about it. I’m so pissed off right now and don’t get me started on these umps. ?

This new rule for putting a base runner on 2nd base in extra innings is a terrible rule and isn’t fair. It’s like giving another team an advantage and doesn’t make sense whatsoever. I think MLB should’ve just cancelled the season.

I have to admit this one hurts a lot. I have no idea what RR was doing there. Guys I don’t think this team is going to win the division this year or go anywhere in the playoffs. I’m usually more positive about things but this team is missing something and doesn’t seem to be a championship type of team this year. I think RR needs to fired.
