  1. I just don’t know how much longer the Sox can trust Lopez or Rodon to be everyday starters in this rotation. I would include one of them in a trade and put one of them in the bullpen.
  2. The Bears needed someone with a high football IQ, that will compete with Trubisky and push him for the job. Foles is that guy. He is also a more accurate thrower than Trubisky and knows when to throw the ball instead of giving up and taking a dumb sack. Foles got hurt in the first game of the season and in the first quarter. Give the guy a chance.
  3. Same with the White Sox FO, they are not going to say anything that will jeopardize or lose there upper hand so they are most likely going to either deny it or say they are backing off or not say anything at all.
  4. Yes, that’s what I meant. I went back and edited my post.
  5. They don’t want to tip there hand so they lose there upper hand. Playing it conservative.
  6. Yoan is not going to say oh yeah we’re in negotiations and this is where we are at and the dollar amount and years. That’s just not how it works.
  7. Man, some of you need to show some humility. The guy is probably working his butt off and your ripping on him. The guy doesn’t look fat, he just looks like he bulked up a little during the offseason.
  8. There is only one reason why I see the Sox doing this is if they think they can’t extend Moncada long term so they would basically move Moncada to 2nd base and in the meantime they are evaluating trade deadline options for Moncada. Possibly for more pitching. Than they would bring up Madrigal after they trade Moncada. However, I think this is totally bogus and this guy needs to stop now!
  9. It sounds like there are some obstacles and quite a few moving parts to both of these trades that there is a chance they will fall apart.
  10. I could’ve posted this article in the Catch-All thread but I thought it was interesting for this topic. https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/caesars-over-under-win-total-175124985.html
  11. I’m wondering why the Twins haven’t signed Berrios yet. If I were them I would be concerned. He is one of there best pitchers.
  12. I think it’s all going to come down to which team has better pitching and catching/defense. I would like for the Sox to maybe look into adding one more arm to the pen. Maybe sign McHugh for long relief.
  13. Ok after reading the post from ThunderStruck I admit I’m wrong. Donaldson did have a hip injury late in 2016 but I think saying he has been injured for most of his career may be a bit exaggerating. I will take the L but I’m not going to walk away or stop posting and I hope that’s not what you meant by walking away. I really don’t care if your a MOD or what your title is. We should all be respecting everyone’s opinions on this board. I’m sure you command the same respect as I do so let’s move on.
  14. Meh, I would do some more research into this especially due to his age. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/josh-donaldson-suffers-an-injury-setback-thatll-make-him-tough-to-trade-before-the-deadline/amp/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/danschlossberg/2020/01/12/josh-donaldson-bidding-war-stalls-as-clubs-worry-about-age-injuries/amp/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2779181-report-indians-to-place-injured-josh-donaldson-on-dl-after-trade.amp.html
  15. The Twins reddit board and Twitter is acting like they won the World Series or something.
  16. I like how after one signing by the Twins and a late signing indeed for an aging 3B, some people seem to forget about the offseason we had and that we bolstered our lineup as well along with adding pitching. It’s just amazes me.
  17. He prefers to stay with the Cardinals so I think he’s to going to re-sign with them.
