  1. We actually only solved one of our needs so far and that’s a reliever but we need to add more. Second base, right field, starting pitching and backup catcher are still positions that need to addressed. If the season started today, we would be fielding the same team as last year.
  2. We did sign Graveman. It just hasn’t been officially announced by the Sox yet.
  3. They aren’t getting Correa or Seager I can tell you that. Unless they are willing to spend over $200-300 million. Maybe Javy Baez but does that really move the needle. I’m not quite sure.
  4. Yeah the thing is though Tucker Barnhart and Eduardo Rodriguez really doesn’t push them pass the Sox yet. They need to start adding good positional players.
  5. It’s looking more likely that’s the major move of the offseason.
  6. I wonder what Harold is going to say next? Oh all along the Sox have been in on Ray? Lol
  7. I’m wondering if the FO is just dysfunctional or there’s stuff going on that we aren’t aware of?
  8. If you really think about it, non of the AL playoff teams have really added any impact players to their rosters as of yet. The Sox signed Graveman but that’s really the only impact signing for an AL playoff team so far. The Rays signed Kluber but he’s almost at the end of his career. The Blue Jays signed Garcia but they weren’t a playoff team last year.
  9. Mets, Mets, Mets and Mets all over the news today. Enough. Lol
  10. If you read his post again he said not with the Sox so I’m thinking what he meant by that was the big name he heard that was signing is Marcus Semien signing with the Rangers.
  11. One of the other outfielders (excluding Robert) or Sheets has got to go than.
  12. Trade Sheets or Eloy and put Vaughn in left.
  13. I would go after Conforto and Schwarber hard now. Trade Kimbrel for Segura/prospects and trade for a TOR starter.
  14. After thinking about it some more, I think 7 years is too much for a guy that is 31 years old. That contract takes him to 38 years old. I wouldn’t give that out to someone that’s only had 2 good years and he’s going to a large ballpark.
  15. Well I guess I should see the AAV first.
  16. We can still have a good offseason, but it’s just frustrating to watch this every year. We act like a small market team in a big city.
  17. It’s a good deal for the Twins if he can stay healthy but that’s an if.
  18. The calm before the storm. It’s eerily quiet right now.
