  1. Series is over. They have pretty much given up since they are playing Leury in RF again.
  2. We need to get a RF and a 2b in the offseason. The bottom of the lineup is garbage.
  3. TLR runs to the pitching mound to check on Cease after every batter. Lol.
  4. Who keeps liking posts with the laughing emoji when some of the posts aren’t meant to be funny or sarcastic. Lol
  5. I thought I heard about it from somewhere like a video or podcast earlier in the season but maybe not. Either way, it’s got to be somewhere around that year since it’s a multi-year deal. Maybe it’s best to not post details like that on here without a good source so I went back and changed my post. Sorry about that!
  6. I think a name to watch in the future for White Sox manager is Justin Jirschele.
  7. No chance he gets fired or retires this year. He is under contract for multiple years. Now if the same thing happens next year or worse, than I think he will be gone.
  8. Even though La Russa has made some really mind boggling decisions, I don’t think he’s the main problem. However, I feel that maybe they should’ve hired someone like Cora or Hinch. They would’ve been a better fit for this team. Time will tell though.
  9. Abreu isn’t high impact? Eloy I think can be if he can play a full 162 game season. Lynn is still a good starting pitcher and can be a bulldog in the rotation at times. Cease is improving each year. The team is still relatively young. Give them time to develop and gain some experience especially in the playoffs.
  10. I think Hahn’s job is safe here but I feel that if he is given an opportunity to go somewhere else he would take it. Most likely to an organization where he has more say or control over the decisions. Somewhere where the manager isn’t involved in the FO decisions and the owner allows him to hire his own people and doesn’t restrict how much money he spends to field a championship team.
  11. Ours was easier or a routine play. I have no idea what Garcia was doing out there tbh. All he needed to do was turn his body towards the infield or at an angle like Tucker did and he would’ve caught the ball but he looked like a wounded duck out there. Lol
  12. Another thing I’ve noticed that none of the breaks are going our way. That’s not a good sign that it’s our year. That ball that Grandal smoked and should’ve been over the head of Tucker was caught. If that went over his head, the momentum may have been in our favor. Same with the two hits that were robbed by Altuve. If all those were hits, we may have been talking about a win instead of a lost. You just never know.
  13. Putting that much pressure on a rookie is a lot to ask.
  14. The Sox are still a young team that have a lot to learn. Look at this, the Dodgers didn’t win the World Series until last year. It took them awhile. Even the Astros, had to go through some bumps in the road or obstacles to get where they are now. All good teams do. Strange things happen in the playoffs but I don’t think this is the year we’re going the distance.
  15. I agree and that’s why he’s gone next year but there’s still a good chance he will pitch in the playoffs this year. I just hope they go after Marte in the offseason.
