That’s not what burned his bridge to Chicago. He has a lot of issues that will hold him back. As much as I enjoyed his Yerminator performance to start 2021, I’m glad he’s someone else’s problem.
-
He hasn’t been the same since he had Covid. Throw in the injury earlier in the season, and his massive bulk up in the offseason, I think there’s a lot of factors that have forced him to compensate.

Dan Winkler has appeared on the Knights roster. He's had some success in the majors.
-
He was literally fired twice on the cusp of competitive postseason windows. That has to be extremely infuriating. If he's comfortable with what he's made throughout his career, I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't want to put himself through that again.
-
Was he guaranteed to return tonight?
-
Wow. Him figuring it out would be a huge boost to the farm.

My fear as well. What a dumpster fire this season has turned into. -
Which is why everyone should be placing heavy bets on the Twins before the odds shift.
-
That would be even worse or more of the same. We all know Tony has a finger on the moves this organization makes and a direct line to Jerry’s ear. To give him a more clear role in those decisions would not make this team better, it would make it worse.
-
I believe so. Any team can claim him right now so it makes more sense not to insert him and have to pull him.

Much needed win from this team. Really hope the offense is starting to turn the corner. Seems like they've been playing much better over the past week or so. -

Long overdue. Glad Hahn still has some type of authority to dictate a move or two. -
Martin is on the Sox, I don’t recall him being sent down.

After this season, it's going to be REALLY interesting when stuff starts to leak. Especially if TLR is out the door.
-
Really rooting for this kid to have instant success. Trying to temper my expectations though.

Tony LaRussa might be one of the most overrated people in the HOF. Count the guy extremely lucky with the teams and players he had, because there is literally nothing this man brings as a competitive edge to his teams.
-
There’s very clearly a change in team philosophy this year in regards to approach and it has broken the majority of these players. It’s like the Sox decided they wanted to be like the Astros who jumped all over Sox pitching in the playoffs with their good contact and it’s blown up in their face. I don’t see how Mennichino hasn’t been relieved of his duties. Regardless of how you feel about hitting coaches in general, SOMEONE has to be held accountable. Yoan is an enigma. I can’t buy into him as a bust or lost cause just yet because it is remarkable how bad he’s been this season - it shouldn’t even be possible.

Kohl Simas was put on the DL today according to the team transactions page on MiLB.com. Didn't he leave his last start early?

Jake belongs playing everyday moving forward. Figure out something with Moncada. Put him at 2B. Jake is earning his spot. -
So he's getting traded to Oakland for Montas?! I kid... but it would be funny.

I agree. Sanchez/Perez are such obvious promotion candidates. You'd think they try SOMETHING to shake things up. The different lineup everyday strategy isn't working. -
Completely disagree. People do need that sometimes. Have you ever held a job with a shit manager vs one with a good manager? Sometime the little things can push someone to the next level. Yes, the players need to perform, but if you have a zombie going through the motions because they are a "hall-of-fame" baseball person, you may not be all that motivated to try hard enough to get to that level.

It’s a managers job to get the most of out his players. LaRussa is a walking corpse. Do you think that man is really doing his best to motivate this team?
