  1. So happy Minnie is finally in - should have happened years ago. Once of the nicest players I have ever met. You could tell how much he loved the game and the White Sox. Cannot believe that Allen continues to get screwed over.
  2. Tim Anderson wasn't drafted as a 1B and shoehorned into SS. Vaughn is going to be a very good player... but at 1B, maybe LF. They need to keep him out of RF though if they plan on keeping Eloy in LF.
  3. That game suffered from the rainout. The energy leaving Sunday night was electric. Had we all been back the next day I feel like the crowd would have been close to what we all experienced Sunday. Although I’ll be honest, I have never been more exhausted (and hung over) after a game than I was that Monday.
  4. Can't participate in the FA Market when your boss is too busy Union-busting and conveniently misplaced his check book on November 28th!
  5. I would be ok with Sonny Gray. Not sure what that deal would like like, he has a super reasonable deal so I’d expect there would be quite a few teams interested.
  6. Stroman isn’t coming here. He’s said so last year he would never play for LaRussa.
  7. I think you have to include Adolfo in this discussion as well. Assuming he isn’t moved for something, he is out of options. We’ve see in the past how that can give a guy a slight edge, plus he did hit 25 HR’s last season. I’m not expecting him to stick around, but he might actually have a little value if he looks like he can hold his own in ST.
  8. I'm probably in the minority in that I am happy the Sox stayed away from him. Soon to be 33 year old where most if not all his value is tied to his legs. He mashes RHP, but doesn't hit all that many HR's. If his legs go, the Mets will quickly regret that contract.
  9. It's the most excitement we've had in the past 48 hrs. Believe away.
  10. Cardinals non-tendered Jose Rondon. Who feels like a reunion is in order?!
  11. Followed by La Vida Baseball and Dan Szymborski too.
  12. Padres traded for Alfaro, except, now they have 4 catchers.
  13. This has been floating around FB that LaMarr Hoyt has passed away from cancer. Terrible news. RIP to a Sox legend.
  14. Even better. Curious to see the total money amount. Javy is a guy that can carry your team but he also can burry it when his bat goes cold.
  15. Tried posting the tweet, but it seems like it was recently deleted. Some guy named Paul Sanchez. He has a decent following, and is followed by Ervin Santana.
  16. Kind of surprising, but the Yankees released Chris Gittens. Edit: I guess he might be headed to Japan.
  17. I agree with everything you said, but Schwarber has a huge advantage in ISO and SLG when compared to Conforto. If you are looking for a lefty masher, Schwarber is the historical better bet. But for obvious reasons, Conforto is the better fit on this team due to his position.
  18. Good job Sox. You are really screwing this offseason up royally.
  19. He's headed to SF. Sox shit their pants this week.
  20. The alternative is putting your big boy pants and signing a big-time FA to supplement the core we sat through numerous losing seasons to build. Sox need GOOD complementary players, not more Adam Eatons of the world that have a 50/50 chance of being released.
