Jose is an ironman, I can't imagine what he must feel like on a day to day basis. His body has taken a beating his whole career, I'm sure he is feeling the effects of it by now.
Nick Ciuffo!

They literally have done nothing to fix the most important areas of need. This team is still good enough to win the division, but a lot is going to have to go right for them to go deep into the playoffs.
And what happens if June 1st rolls around and Sheets and Vaughn are both having sophomore slumps or grade out as the worst defensive RF pair in the league? This team is right back to having a black hole in RF again. When you're in the position the Sox are in you put your foot on the throat of the competition. That's what good teams do. There's plenty of options for RF still. They need to take advantage.
What’s your general feelings to them actually being able to convert on one of the bigger RF options? I feel like we’ll see something for a SP, but I don’t have an optimistic view on the OF because of Boras.
Manaea has a better track record, but Montas has the control and higher upside IMO. If we are looking for innings, I think Manaea is the better fit. And he should be cheaper to get too.
I only say that because last nights trade makes me feel like they aren’t done. I could totally see Torres moved. I think they’ve soured on him.
Edit: NEVERMIND ?
Totally agree. Doesn't help so many Boras guys are still out there. I can't imagine these teams want to have this market drag into ST. Unusual to see such high profile players moved while guys are just starting their workouts and getting into the swing of things.
Colas hasn't faced live pitching in a professional setting since 2019. There's no way he is being counted on as the RF for 2022 by the Sox. People need to stop writing him and Cespedes in as can't miss options.
It's a business. They can't burn bridges or they risk not getting the good scoop, interviews, etc. If they don't do it, someone else will and they will be replaced.
