  1. Terrible. They had the best show by far, great chemistry, and sensible takes. The network totally picked the wrong Chris to can. Russo is so bad to watch. I honestly have never met a person that liked him or his trash takes.
  2. I believe he was taken in the ‘Triple-A’ phase. So I think he needs to stay in Charlotte. I might be wrong though.
  3. He did. Passan confirmed it. I believe there was a group text among the players that knew of Dunning being moved. Who knows where NSC got his info from, whether it was a FO personnel or a player themselves.
  4. Or maybe he signs while at work, and you have an extremely unproductive day!
  5. Can Kyle Schwarber pitch? He could throw to Anderson behind the plate! ?
  6. Wonder where Realmuto goes now. Phillies are acting totally broke, Yankees supposedly on a budget too.
  7. Would you actually want a closer that doesn’t rely on strike outs though? I’d much rather have a guy with a K/9 10 and over. I don’t want to see the ball put in play in the 9th. This isn’t a slam against Colome, I really liked what he provided the past two years and loved the Narvaez trade. Just a general question.
  8. Haven't seen this posted yet. He was an interesting option.
  9. They better be sure to lock him up then and get it done. I would be trilled with a Hendricks signing.
  10. Hendriks would be a great get. Lots of outlets reporting on him, which makes me not feel all that confident it's actually a thing. Sox never seem to land anyone that gets reported on having a connection to them.
  11. Just trying to balance the power and handiness throughout the lineup.
  12. Initial thought was in the 2 hole. High contact and OBP seems like a good fit there. 1. Anderson R 2. Eaton L 3. Abreu R 4. Jimenez R 5. Moncada S 6. Robert R 7. Grandal S 8. Vaughn R (whoever ends up at DH) 9. Madrigal R
  13. White Sox Twitter causing deals to fall through, yet again!
  14. I don't care how good he's been the last few years, Dunning + another arm is a massive overpay for 1 year of Lynn.
  15. I'm glad this guy did this. This will be the nail in the coffin whether or not there is a single ounce of credibility among the bullshit that I think makes him up.
  16. I don't see anyone calling Dunning the next Giolito. He is still valuable as a 4/5 though. He looked more than capable to become a guy that could hold down the back end of the rotation for a few years. I'd much rather trade Stiever at this point, especially since his FB velo disappeared.
  17. I actually think Pederson is the better player though in this case. Pederson at least carries a wRC+ over 100 (for the most part). Heywards beats him out in his defense, but that's about it. Even comparing their fWAR, Pederson has him beat. I think I'd take the HR potential of Pederson than Heywards speech-giving abilities.
  18. Heyward would be an incredibly expensive strong side platoon option.
  19. I think this is very realistic. In fact, I think I'd prefer Gallo to Pederson. He was having a hell of a season in 2019 before he went and got hurt.
  20. People better temper their expectations with Pederson. I have a die-hard Dodgers fans and he used one word to describe Pederson: streaky. I don't get the love fest he gets from some people. If you can't stand Grandal, you better lump Pederson into the same category and expect similar results. At least Grandal is at the top of the catcher pool of talent, where as Pederson is firmly in the middle of the pack.
  21. The next guy in line to join the over-the-hill-and-come-to-the-Sox-to-have-your-career-fall-off-a-cliff club.
  22. Thinking of Neris on the Phillies? He was demoted. Iglesias bounced back this year. He had a high ERA in 2019.
