Reed's performance as a Sox closer is no better than Petricka (statistically speaking). Would anyone be alarmed this offseason is Hahn traded Peticka for a young position player? Reed was a 7/8 inning guy that ended up closing on a bad team. Davidson's "pedigree" and prospect status at the time of the trade was worth more than an above-average relief pitcher.

Haven't tried that yet (and likely won't) because Ubisoft's Watch_Dogs multiplayer servers are so laggy its pointless to even try to play.

Who cares? He vanished from the radar because he was REALLY bad. THe odds of that suddenly changing aren't good. Sign somebody, with a track record who is righthanded, and move on.

Kenny Williams is as fiercely loyal to Jerry Reinsdorf as the rest of the inner circle. He has stated numerous times that the only scenario leading to his departure from the Sox is to go be the GM of the Raiders.

Last off-season, the Sox signed Quintana long term. From everything I've seen and read Tomas ~ Viciedo. So far the Sox are 2-for-3 in the Cuban department. Let's not bring down that GM WAR by making it 2-for-4.

The admins (ie: fat bitter old men) ruined WSI for everyone. A few years back, there was "The Night of the Long Knives" when one of the mods banned everyone that was known to be friends with one of the posters IRL... which was literally 100 people. We all left and started our own board for a while and some joined here (like me). Some of the younger posters just aren't active anymore due to career/family/priorities. I still talk to all the friends I made on WSI (that I don't see IRL) on facebook etc.

Why did the Nationals pull Strasburg after 89 pitches? Are they still "protecting" him??
