  1. Humber does seem to be leaving everything up in the zone but i thought the same thing with peavys complete game
  2. A feeling hes going to hit a high pop up to the 2b
  3. There should be a complaint hotline to get hawk to stop saying certain things. That has to be the first to go. And I will not be follwing through with that threat
  4. if hawks says dont stop now boys im turning the bulls game on
  5. gordon looked silly on that hanging slider
  6. humber needs to pitch every 5th day till he starts gettign rocked
  7. They have to feel bad for aj with that call. Maybe gordo can teach alexei how to stay behind the bag
  8. Buehrle and Humber have as many k's pitching as dunn batting
  9. It was pat borders. Buehrle>Wood wins
  10. Looked it up. He was the catcher. Anybody?
  11. one was molitor no clue the other
  12. Trivia: What 2 blue jays players were the 1992 and 1993 world series mvps?
  13. aj sucks and does not produce. The sox are such a streaky team from TCQ beckham floyd jackson etc. can carry a team when they are on but if they all decide to go away at the same time watch out. The pen will be fine and i believe will still lead us to the division title
  14. Thorton has gotten hit hard as well. Granted two should have been saves but when they hit line drives all over the place hes not being effective. Still early. Perfect show of white sox baseball. When one thing goes good another goes worse and costs the game. Wonder when the first offensive slump comes
  15. I agree we are fine. But a game in April counts as much as a game in September. Losing games when you downright outplay a team for 8 innings could hurt eventually. Players need to turn it around quickly before it becomes a mental thing (like teahen's complete inability to throw from third to first. Well that may be lack of skill too)
  16. But really don't like the move to sale. Even if he did close the game. If hes worried about starters finishing there own games after 8 innings then he should be worried about pitching sale in a day game after pitching 2 innings the night before
  17. morel also has experience at ss last year. Don't know how good he was there but seems like our if is pretty felxible if a couple starters get injured at the same time. I know they wouldn't want to move him but I am talking about the extreme situation where lillibridge may have been "valuable" for the team
  18. I wasn't really talking of late inning subs on defense for infielders. Don't think they will really or should use defensive subs in the infield with ramirez playing at a gg level, becks taking the next step and morel living up to his ability. More being able to handle a couple of starts in different positions and steping in like last year if injury occurs is what our infield depth will be called upon for.
