  1. If you listen to Chuck's new podcast Evan Grant is on there. They talked about how disappointed Texas was in his range and how he wasn't getting to the balls that he absolutely should have been. This goes in with his bad DRS numbers. I have no idea why the White Sox would want to test this next year.
  2. Except for the fact that "appropriate" deals are the ones they usually miss on.
  3. Yep they've had a pretty subpar offseason so far. It would be better than shelling out long term money.
  4. You know....I go to sleep all nice and wake up go to work...and see this. God damn you Marlins.
  5. Come on Marlins. You know you need him.
  6. His DRS has always been bad. Why would that change? That also factors in range.
  7. I thought that was hilarious. Every defensive metric on the planet hates this guy.
  8. Nomar's defense last year and the past few years...yeesh. Can we get a good defensive outfielder for once please?
  9. I dont think many people on here will groan about that.
  10. Hahn's the lip service master. Just tune his bullshit out.
  11. It's funny DRS is kind to him. Every other defensive static isn't. It's going to be amusing with one butcher of an outfielder in the corner. One who's not good and Luis Robert.
  12. Can we not sign an incredibly bad defensive outfielder please?
  13. https://www.sfchronicle.com/giants/shea/article/Why-Madison-Bumgarner-to-Dodgers-would-make-sense-14888456.php?utm_campaign=CMS Sharing Tools (Mobile)&utm_source=t.co&utm_medium=referral Doesn't sound like we are linked to Madison at all
  14. That's why I love DRS so much. It takes into account a players range. I mean let's just be plain. Most defensive stats hate this guy. Probably because he's a bad defensive player. Why why why do the White Sox need another bad defensive outfielder? Can we have one really good one for once?
  15. I guess that's possible lol. But really the day he gets close to zero will be a miracle.
  16. How do you fix the -9 in DRS last year and the -19 in 2018? That's pretty awful.
  17. I'm just being sarcastic. Right now the Sox are screwed when it comes to pitchers.
  18. I think they need to shift focus and move to the OF market. The pitching market has them screwed right now. Lets get Covey some starts.
  19. I have no evidence for this whatsoever but I think they were really stunned by how yesterday went and it's going to take a little while for them to readjust.
