He's not a source to put it nicely -
Well this was a nice surprise after not looking at Twitter all day! Brewer fans are pissed. It's interesting to see how far off they think we are from actually being good.
-
That entire at bat was embarrassing. Far too obvious they were doing it.
-
You know...both our GM and manager say that this criticizing talk doesn't effect them but it sure seems it does now. Good grief I've never seen such thin skinned professionals in this sport in a while.
-
Nice old man rant by Ricky. Time for him to go.
-
I wouldn't be surprised to see another offseason like last years. Trying for a top player not getting them and then simply signing 1 year guys. Hahn walked back his accelerated timeline that he first talked about 3 years ago. Now he's talking about 5-7 years. Doesn't seem like he's in a rush.
-
Well every Rick Hahn appearance now is "Whoops I know I said this and we didn't do that...but now here's the goal". He's the master at spin.
-
Hey just incase you had any doubts that Rick wants to keep pressing home the timeline may go longer...he's mentioned 5+ Years on rebuilds quite often in this podcast so far. Love how the timeline goes from short to 5 years like everyone else to maybe 7 years.

You know for all the crap the McCaskey's have gotten over the years they have gotten one thing right. When there's a large contingency of the fanbase getting tired of losing and pissed they did everything in their power to change the culture of the team. For me it's that effort to get back in that keeps me onboard with all of that losing you can see they are tired of it. For Rick it just seems like another day at the office.
-
Just for those who don't know what I'm talking about.
-
The Hahn clip of him ranting about Twitter and then trying to act like he isn't butt hurt about Sox fans not liking their direction was embarrassing.
-
"In reality he should probably be playing with the White Sox no matter what right now if CBA issues didn't get in the way". Maybe try reading the whole thing next time. We all understand this and no we don't have to like it. But this is why there's probably going to be a lockout.
-
I think if they can't sign him to an extension or convince him to come back by that time then they have bigger problems on their hands. Stop being dramatic. I never said ruining his development. He is as developed as he's probably going to be in AAA. He's just seal clubbing right now. He's ready for the majors.
-
You should have should put a *maybe* next to the last part of that. The only thing that's 100 percent true is losing sucks. The rest is up to management.
-
I never said it is. I understand what they'll gain by leaving him down as far as service time goes. It's part of the CBA and it sucks. But it is what it is. I'm just saying for him it's doing nothing to have him rot in AAA right now. He's not getting challenged there. In reality he should probably be playing with the White Sox no matter what right now if CBA issues didn't get in the way.
-
I mean it may be for the best as far as financially. But not really for the players. Robert is gaining nothing by sitting in AAA for the rest of the season.
-
I mean after that disaster last offseason...call me skeptical.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Baron replied to Sockin's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I'm good with not doing anything personally. Especially if the price isn't good enough. Was kind of hoping potentially Hahn would be able to add a bit on some buy low guys but that doesn't seem realistic now. -

I mean that much was obvious immediately after Manny signed with the Padres. -

Why thank you. Odd place to talk about BMW tech in a trade thread but has been amusing lol. -
